How about this: Everyone using the image below as a signature around the time of Halloween? I know it doesn't look real good but I'm kinda new with Illustrator : )

Looks rather good. I can't say I'd use it, purely because I don't celebrate Halloween.
It's not that bad at all really. Just need some adjusting and working a little with it a bit more.
Also, I wouldn't use it as a signature quite yet because the height is beyond the rules. A little adjusting and that wouldn't be a problem though.

Looks good.
Looks very nice, but how about a mech-kin? I'd just work on getting the actual shapes right, perhaps just start off by tracing and add in your style a little later :).
