Duel Arena Rework

In other news...

Health bars will no longer become completely red unless the player/monster has zero hitpoints.

When you're in resizeable mode, the chat window can now be vertically resized to show more lines of text, chat and other messages. Your stats interface will also expand itself to remove the need for a scroll bar.

After completing Within the Light, you can ask Eluned to help you add a choice of destination to your teleport crystals.

Your gravestone should now be indicated on the minimap.

The position of your Friends and Clan Chat list vertical bars are now remembered between logins, provided you're using the signed applet.

You are now allowed to purchase multiple skillcapes.

We've changed the way the TzHaar Fight Cave records your progress. In future, if you get disconnected during a wave, you'll automatically restart from that wave rather than having to begin the minigame again. You can still use the logout button to make the minigame log you off when you've completed your current wave.

The interface that lets you change the left-click function of the Summoning status globe (next to the minimap) will no longer be closed by combat.

Murky Matt at the Grand Exchange can now combine the charges on members' teleport jewellery.

Just the other day I was wondering why they didn't expand the skills window when there's room for it, and a bigger chatbox is epic :)

I like these 2 things:
(You see some very small arrows to resize the box, click those and drag them up, it should work ;-))

Makes it easier to screenshot pieces of text in massive spam =D

Riddle me this Batman, why do you cut Ivy south of Castle Wars as opposed to a more convenient location.

Hahaha, because it never was as crowded as it is now =P

I'm pissed about accidentally selling my hellcat trying to do the stupid diary task. You aren't supposed to sell your cat - oh no, just talk to the person WITH a cat. If Mod Maz lived anywhere within 2 hours of me, I would go give her a piece of my mind...

But other than that it's a fantastic update. I can't wait till I finish up the diary and get the Watchtower tele inside Yanille. Climbing down and around that tower has been such a pain over the years =D
GameManXD
Small update before Halloween means that they are working on something bigger than normally. Also I love the Achivement Diaries, they give so uselful rewards!
Lord John
The Elite achiement reward is pretty mediocre. The Red bar is great though. I'm looking forward to the halloween event, as they are the one time I log onto RS. They've really improved their events from the "Talk to Santa and get a Yo-Yo" days.
Hayaemsay
Most of the benefits seems rather lackluster, the only one I see myself using on a regular occasion is the monastery teleport.

Perhaps Jagex will improve the elite rewards?

They updated the seers diary with better rewards.
Why wouldn't they do the same?
Hayaemsay
Hopefully they will, I wonder why they can't get it right the first time though.

While im here, I decided to say the rewards.
If you Don't want to know them then don't read them and don't blame me for spoiling them.

The reward for the easy tasks is Ardougne Cloak 1, it has a purple and deep blue pattern on it, which grants the following bonuses when worn:

Teleport to the monastery south of Ardougne
Better chance at successful thieving in Ardougne
Twice as many death runes when trading a cat to a citizen in West Ardougne
More drops in the Tower of Life will become noted.
A boost of Prayer on entry to Castle Wars
In addition to the cloak, players will receive a 1,000 experience lamp.

The reward for the medium tasks is Ardougne Cloak 2, which, in addition to Ardougne Cloak 1's bonuses, grants the following bonuses when worn:

Teleport to Ardougne Farm once per day.
Better chance at successful pickpocket in Ardougne.
Better chance at getting more runes at Ourania Altar.
Even more of the drops from the Tower of Life will be noted.
100 Pure Essence per day from Wizard Cromperty.
Longer immunity from attack once teleporting to the wilderness from the Ardougne Lever.
Toggle Ring of life teleport to Ardougne.
In addition to the cloak, players will receive a 7,500 experience lamp.

The reward for the hard tasks is Ardougne Cloak 3, which, in addition to Ardougne Cloak 2's bonuses, grants the following bonuses when worn:

Better chance at stealing and pickpocketing anywhere in RuneScape.
Magical traps on chests will teleport the player to Ardougne's North Bank, instead of a random location.
Even more drops from the creatures in the Tower of Life will be noted.
Wizard Cromperty will give 150 pure essence per day.
Ability to change the Watchtower teleport to take the player within Yanille's walls.
In addition to the cloak, players will receive a 28,000 experience lamp.

Rewards for the eilte tasks:

Four experience lamps granting 50,000 experience each to any skill level 85 or above.
Unlimited teleports to the farm north of Ardougne

And yes i copied this from the wikia.

I think there's a good chance of the Elite being made more impressive. Mod Maz (the Dev) generally listens to player feedback and makes good changes.
Stellar
Well the reward for completing the elite diary is crap. Sure the 200k xp is nice, but with skills as high as you need the xp is kind of small. The unlimited teleport, however, is pathetic. We already have an ardy teleport, which is about 10 seconds away from the elite diaries reward.

The reward should be much better considering the levels needed. Not to mention you don't even get a new cape for the elite tasks, so you're stuck with the same level 3 cape.

Yes but you guys gotta remember the theres only 4 elite tasks, and they are all fairly easy. It's just the requirements that are elite.

I think considering it's Jagex's first attempt at an elite diary, that they did okay.
Hayaemsay
Shouldn't the rewards reflect the requirements?

That's what I figured.

Although I never see myself doing the elite tasks, I'd still like to sort the people who have done them from who has not. It would be nice if there was a level 4 cape, with a noticeable change in looks.

The true reward for me has been the cape. I have the level 3 cape, and now wear it instead of a skill cape.
