What's your favourite food?

Do you often eat ready meals or do you eat home cooked meals?

Do you enjoy cooking, or do you try and make someone else do it?

Mexican stuff or Italian have to be up there.

I don't think I've had many ready meals in my life. Perhaps not even 10. All home cooked, if not a takeaway but not really any ready meals.

Ahh it's ok.

What about you Xela?
Alex
My favourite food has to be Fajitas and Nachos. I have them on Saturdays a lot and my mum can pull off an impressive spread.

As for home made stuff, most of what I eat is made from the basics ie. veg and meat (even chips, which is quite rare I hear). However, every other Friday I go to my dad's house and that's usually a "Friday tea" which basically means a ready-made pizza (sometimes I knock one up from a frozen base or even make the dough) and some chicken nugget type thing for my brother.

I love to cook, I usually try and help my parents out (although my mum doesn't have a lot of time for me - she's really a loner in the kitchen) and I keep getting cookbooks for presents. My dad's pretty supportive and I cook a lot of stuff with him. I already have a blokes' special spagbol at 14 so I think I'm doing OK.

Somehow that reminded me of BBQ cookies (the ones from M&S). I had them like twice when I was little small.

This thread looks nummy! banana.gif

I like a lot of stuff, so it's hard to list it all. I guess my favorite would be Lasagna.

As for homemade or pre-made food, I eat about half and half.

I like to cook, but I'm not bery good at it, so most of the time, my mom makes it.
Dizzy
I enjoy sushi and pizza. I also enjoy making sandwiches all the time, since they're so easy and quick to make. I eat pre-made food whenever I have to go somewhere in a short period of time. I actually like cooking food, but I don't really do it often.
Darth Irule
I will eat anything, so im not sure what my favorite food is. I enjoy cooking once in a while. I don't eat many full course meals, but when I do I enjoy them.
PoultryChamp
I love to cook, but a lot of the time it's less expensive to buy fast food or ready-to-make meals. I regret to say I eat mostly fast food or expensive sandwiches/teriyaki.
SgtGumbo
Freaking french canadian food

meat pies, sugar pies, poutines, lots of veggies too.
basically hearty pioneer food and VERY sugary stuff (maple-y), but it's ok because we don't gain weight for some reason tongue.gif.

What?! My Dad could cook a meal for four of us and we'd have like 3 portions left over in the freezer for around £5.
Now thats cooking on a budget smile.gif

I can't cook. Well, it's not that I can't cook, it's that I don't ever do it and I don't really know how to make most things. I blame my disdain for cooking on my crazy, evil cooking teacher in middle school, Mrs. Martz. She scarred me.

Lol?! You had a crazy, evil cooking teacher in middle school?! Wow.

1. I was unaware that there were middle school cooking teachers (I go to a very small district)

2. I was unaware that there were crazy evil middle school cooking teachers.

3. Lol!

It's ok, I'm not a great cook, either. I've ruined my mom's skillet and almost burned the house down.... TWICE! Worse, the incidents happened about two months apart. Now she only trusts me with the microwave and to toaster oven. I was using a Teflon skillet both times, and they can't be turned up on high, or they melt and catch on fire. The dial on the stove-top looks like this: HIGH | OFF | LOW. I felt it click off, but apparently it was on high. One minute I'm watching YouTube, the next I hear the smoke alarm go off and am running to the kitchen (oddly enough, I was watching video that Max uploaded -.-). Wasn't fun....

Well I'm from Texas...

With that said my favorite type of food is Mexican, without a doubt. However I will not do most of your crappy renditions of over sea Mexican food that's been soaked in your culture. Not to blame you guys, but you haven't had true Mexican Food until you've basically lived in Mexico your whole life.

My parents each have 99 cooking. Their food will make your taste buds explode.

Yeah, Mexican food down here is amazing. I'm actually going to a Mexican restraunt tonight, since my dad just got back from California and was denied good Mexican food for the last week. I think the extent of most people north of the Red River having decent Mexican food is Taco Bell, which is nothing compared to Papacitos or any of the other local Mexican restraunts here in Houston.

I think Dallas owns Houston in nothing except at failing. We're closer to Mexico, therefore our Mexican food is better.

What's your favourite food? Salami, hands down.

Do you often eat ready meals or do you eat home cooked meals? Both. I don't cook meals tongue.gif

Do you enjoy cooking, or do you try and make someone else do it? Cooking is not meant for me. I make a disaster out of everything.

I don't have a favorite food. I eat everything, though I suppose that chicken might just beat other stuff.

What's your favourite food?
A t-bone steak, by far.

Do you often eat ready meals or do you eat home cooked meals?
Mostly home-cooked meals, but I eat fast food quite a bit, which I'm not really proud of (200 pounds, ftl)

Do you enjoy cooking, or do you try and make someone else do it?
I enjoy cooking, but I'm lazy so I usually try and get someone else to do it.
