Right, well we all know about the big stellardawn leak but personally i don't think it's a leak because for one if it was how would the options work in runescape. But that's just speculation however i think i have a bit more proof now. When it first came out we did a little look around and listed all differences, one was the fact that multiple logging in was possible with it! I am certain this did happen as in my youtube video Rick Astely is logged in on two different account. However this now seems to have been fixed... if jagex didn't know about this how could they have fixed a bug in it? Also i asked 3 seperate jagex moderators (mod thomas, mod mark and mod aiko) whether they wanted to know about a big glitch/leak, they were all really interested but then i said it's about mechscape and they were all like "oh well thats not really something you should be telling me" sort of thing. Does this tell us anything? What does everyone else think?

Okay first of you have no sources to back up your pints just an opinion, You ahve put this topic in the wrong thread and for the Mod things try to not tell them, the more they leak the better for us. I'd like to also see some screenshots and QFC's for the fourms or ways in which you told the mods about the stellerdawn Client and multilogging in.

who cares if its a leak or not a leak....

Me because if it is it proves that jagex are deliberately making leaks and if so that means they must now have something to start leaking which means they must have at least partly made mechscape!

Also when people say no proof

1.) Do you think i'd bother making up stuff like that?

2.) I've told you you can go ask any of those mods if a guy called whoite39 or The 39th Guy (name change) asked about the stellardawn leak!

3.) Even if i don't have any proof i can upload and point out to you do that mean this isn't real? If it is don't you think it's something worth thinking about?

I am sure it is almost complete they are just polishing over and over again.

Chances are it was an accidental leak. The way to get into the server was by no means obvious.

If a company wanted to leak some information they would do it without needing to break their product apart and put it back together.

Then again this idea does contribute to my idea that Ren is a Jagex Employee o.O

Mod Aiko refuses to talk about Stellar Dawn or MechScape... I've known that since the first day his CC opened up =P

I've never talked to the other mods. But I think they either can't talk about it, because they don't know anything about it, Or they can't talk about it because they'd get fired or something idk =P

And i've thoguht for awhile that ren's a jagex employee as well.....he just seems to know way to much info for apparently simple research that anyone could normally do....despite the fact that we havent had an info update of any real importance for awhile.

i would have to agree but for different reasons. jagex probably wants us to know for sure that its not gonna be mechscape but they want some drama about so then excitement is raised.

OMG EVERYONE DON'T GO ON STELLARDAWN, i spoke to mod mark today (i do have quotes this time!) and he said that lots of people have told jagex about it ages ago and jagex now know about it! Which would make more sense of that multiple logging in thing being fixed on it!

Because if jagex know and its still up it could mean one of two things:

1.) They really did do this on purpose.

2.) They are trying to catch out any people going on it! =o

I doubt they are really that bothered. Using the SD mode gives you no in-game advantages.
All it does it says ratings instead of levels and a few other things. I find it hard to belive that Jagex would be worried about this...

The RuneScape client is not licensed under any open-source terms. Thus, it is ILLEGAL to recompile a modified version of the client to play the game. Trust me on this. Just because you haven't gotten any mail from Jagex saying you're breaking the law, doesn't mean it can't happen. One of my old friends from the cheating community has already been threatened once to be sued by Jagex, for modifying the RuneScape client and designing a private server to communicate with the client.

So yes, it's illegal and if any J-mod knew that you were messing around with RS client like that, you could get in serious trouble. Unless if they're in some super happy mood, then it'd be a miracle.

Honestly though they have much bigger fish to fry. Mopar has been running well over it's due time and Jagex can't do much of anything about it.

You can do a lot of silly stuff with the client in order to play runescape in an alternative way, however nothing you do in my opinion will raise the mark on your head. Everything is client side (from what I understand), so anything going to their servers will automatically be changed back to normal.

The Stellar Dawn client is just a small little something that I don't see Jagex shunning upon. It's their own fault for keeping the vault of information locked down so tight. We would have never opened up the locked freezer if they would give us enough food to eat. They are starving us so bad, that we are forced to break in and steal what isn't ours.
