His videos are horrible, yet he's gotten most subscribed and most viewed many times, and he makes around $100,000 a year using the youtube advertising program, so he has to be doing something right... Kids must love him.

I think he's funny in some aspects, but to me he's more annoying then funny. I don't hate him though.

I think most people like him because of the randomness.

He's overrated. He'll fall eventually, I don't worry much about it.

There's intelligent and witty comedy on youtube, and it's much better than some guy being a total idiot on camera in a failed attempt to make people laugh.

Comedy doesnt have to be smart. Its supposed to make you laugh. which is what fred does. which makes him excel. If you dont like him, dont watch him.

Why are people so interested in these internet celebrities? The Youtube community sucks, along with most mainstream internet communities.

I can't tell you how much I enjoy random, and Fred gives me that. XD
But I can only stand one video a month of his. If I take more I start getting pissy and annoyed. :o

The thing about the internet and certain trends, is that they never last. We're just going through another phase in life; this one apparently revolves a lot around: Social networking sites (i.e. MySpace, Facebook, and sadly, Twitter <- company tweets are fine, but I just hate the average joe tweets, talking about their boogers and how they just farted); YouTube is one thing that is definitely a part of the bandwagon. We're in a very technologically dependent era, and I have a strong feeling that this won't last very long.

Fred, face it, you're going to run dry and so are most of the big hits of YouTube.
