My acc was banned about a year ago and all my appeal were denide and it seems that if you say im not going to pay any more your acc gets unbanned?Also this video,This player got unbanned for what he put in?

If Jagex didn't read appeals the people whose job it is to read them (some of whom I have spoken to IRL) would be looking for work. Not only do they read them but the sampling team regularly checks up on them to ensure they are doing their job right. Occasionally they might make a mistake but that's not the same thing. It's also the case that if they feel a punishment was incorrect then they will grant an appeal regardless of whether you write a stupid appeal message or a proper one.

Also, its unbelievably easy to fake something like this. Without a picture/video editor. You can edit the source code.

So you are telling me that this guy had 10 incorrect punishments? And your also telling me that they occasionally make mistakes? They have made so many mistakes its unbelievable. Obviously they didn't look at these appeals, there is no way in hell anyone would accept this.

You're not making a lot of sense. Try to breathe a little bit, then write what you really mean.

I think what it means is that an Unbanned date for your account is Not Available, which means your account hasn't been deliberated on, on whether or not to keep it banned or unban it.

I think it works like, they have a series of bots/whatever to read through them, and if it isn't capable of resolving it, it's then passed to a staff member who will review it.

Ok, I completely understand how the appeal system works. I read somewhere in an interview with Jagex about this.

Obviously, the appeals are not actually written by the employee. The customer support staff have many different pre-typed messages that they send, because obviously, with over one-hundred thousand players on at any one time, it would take too long to write a response to every single message. They do, however, read every message, then select the appropriate pre-typed message. Very few reports actually require a hand typed response, so the pre-typed messages are used most often. But I guarantee that every single abuse report/appeal is read.

I just wonder sometimes why you can send in a message (not related to ban appeal) and you are lucky to get a response back with in a month. Where when you appeal to an offense you are sent back with in a week and sometimes a day or less.

Probably because the system sets those non related messages to the side and look at the ones that really matter. Then when they take care of most of those ban appeals that are real, they come back to the non related ones. Just a though.

This is why they need to have people look at these.I Could have said that and got unbanned....

Just because you say stupid things doesn't mean they won't look at the case and make a judgement in your favour, although doing so won't help you at all. People really do have the job of looking at these things and really do get evaluations on how they perform. Yes they make the decisions quickly and yes they sometimes make mistakes. I'd personally have a system where two employees separately made a decision on every case and if their views differed it went to a more senior person to check over, but I am confident that they do look at appeals because I know people who wouldn't have a job if they didn't.

Yes my friend got a temp job of a year to work for jagex as a player support. She loves it and does read every message and there are already-typed messages. That's what they mostly use.

Well evidently some mods aren't doing their job properly. I've seen appeals containing "I like cheese" to people swearing their heads off, all of which have been accepted.

This absolute idiocy when it comes to accepting/declining plus the generic message which everyone gets is the reason everyone thinks Jagex have a weak customer support team and a broken bot that looks for keywords in an appeal.

Well think of it this way. If someone spends time to create a whole message that is mainly attacking or abusing that feature, Jagex is going to throw up an automated message and decide without that. The reasoning is simple. The person obviously doesn't get it and are too emotionally wrapped up in this or plain don't care about it. So what do you do? You look at the evidence and maybe give them a little benefit of the doubt. Maybe they weren't guilty to begin with and they reacted as if they didn't see their message because if they did they wouldn't have their account anymore. Think about this, if the info you say is going to help you then they are going to let it help you but if your going to just dig yourself deeper they are going to look over it. Because plainly you don't feel that you need to give any more supporting evidence.

i just can't belive i got a offence on my pure for saying autotyper (someone was using autotyper and on 1 line i wrote, "what a cheater" "autotyper". i managed to remove it but why accept the report in the first place, Jagex are bots, their robots made by Japan to Killl the Usa!
