I didn't like it all the much.

A bit too much on the trippy side for me.

If you really like alternative music though check this out. A lot of their videos have this nostalgic feel.

Boards of Canada - Music is Math

A lot of their stuff is like this, but they do have some crap too though.

EDIT: unless you're implying that it's totally awful tongue.gif

I meant the song, not the video.

Unless you do think the song, in and of itself (I'm going to keep using this phrase until somebody calls me pretentious, then I'll stop), is trippy. I'd be interested in hearing why you think that.

Also, I'm really big on lyrics, so that song didn't interest me much. Most of my favorite songs are songs that set a certain mood through both sounds and lyrics that gives me specific feelings that few other things can. That one didn't really work for me.

I don't like it.

The tonality of the voices combined at some parts, the abundance of semi notes(dont know what they're called in english).
And the unusual note intervals. Mostly with the voice.

Some parts of the song are ok, but he loses me when he starts the higher octaves(high pitch) like a minute inwards.

All that jargon means his style of singing is generally trolling me.

And yeah I'm totally opposite, I prefer songs without lyrics.

I think it was ok...

But it feels like it is constantly building up, and never hits that point that the music build up leads to. Eh, I can't explain it... when it reaches point in which the music gets louder, with loud drum beats, etc... I find it would've been better.

This. I wasn't sure how to put it into words, but it seems someone else did it for me. happy.gif

The song is pretty good, I like the chorus better than the verses. The harmonized singing in the beginning sounds like the Beach Boys lol.

The beginning of the video reminds me of a video Radiohead did where all they used was computer imaging of sonar to make the video. It was really cool.

Yeah, I agree. The song should of kept building up for another minute, perhaps with some more verses, then reach a climax with a few repeats of a louder version of the chorus.

Actually, I think there is a longer version of the song out there, I haven't found it yet though.

Still, I freaking love this song, and I haven't found anyone that loves it as much as I do. A few of my friends/acquaintances/random people I barely know said it was cool, but none of them really liked it that much.
Darth Irule
I like it a lot.
