I'm sorry, I forgot we have some less knowledgeable folks on this forum.
Tell me when it is ever ok to teach little KIDS to worship A PRESIDENT. Leaving out the fact that they're worshiping government control.
There is a difference between respecting the President, and outright worshiping him.

I used to go to Bible school. This is just as creepy. I dont think anyone should use children as a political tool.

This is just wrong. The thing is, the kids will probably only realize what is wrong about it until they get older, or not at all. I am shocked to think that someone would write and teach children songs that worship their president instead of supporting him.

I'm not going to take exception to the whole video, but the red, yellow, black and white is from "Jesus Loves the Little Children". I'm not sure children of that age really need to be singing about the plans for our economy. That part just seems to be pushing a political agenda to the audience of parents. The kids are cute, though!

MC hit it right on the nail. Basically, this is nowhere near as unfair as expecting children to make a pledge to America and God EVERY DAY ALL ACROSS AMERICA.
This is one teacher that came up with what she probably perceives to be a cute pro-Obama song, that is a lot creepier than she probably realizes (I suppose it's possible she's just a creeper). Plus, they have the choice to refuse singing the song, but they aren't aware of it, so it's the same as the pledge of allegiance.
Also, this has nothing to do with Obama, it only has to do with the music teacher, and it really isn't a big deal. Obviously, it's weird, unusual, and somewhat immoral, but so much worse things happen at elementary schools, that I don't see why this is something that a normal person would freak out about, unless they hate Obama and are looking for an excuse to insult him.
Which is why I say "So What?", because I don't see why we'd give a shit about some kids singing a weird song about the president, when we have other kids murdering their peers and having orgy's in the bathroom.

And I don't, which usually is fine with teachers who know I won't stand up, but it reeeaaaallly makes substitutes angry.
Also, Pipin, you missed my point. I didn't recite "The Pledge" to show it's worse than this, I recited it to show it's in the same vein.

The video is in no way vulgar however...
What's with the increase of WBM's anyway? I want to be told when/if I'm breaking the rules by a moderator.

Duuude chill... I was joking.... see I was trying (I obviously failed) to imply that this video was vulgar/incredibly-bad-for-our-country-and-sad-as-a-human.... but apparently you simply took it as me trying to actually enforce rules or some such thing.
Anyways... I think that this has some very important ramifications for the future of our country.

as i have discovered earlier, the video itself was taken in february 2009 during black history month (and 1 month after Obama's Inaugeration).
So...the question is, Was it ment to merely commemerate his Inaugeration and black history month?
Or....is it indeed an attempt to brainwash the children into worshipping Obama?

Well, it's the first time a color person got elected. You have to expect at least ONE group of people to do this during black history month.
