Hello,

Jagex has today make a new look for the billing web pages. Now you can check for what you want to be member. They have now 2 buttons (funorb and runescape). First there were 3 (Runescape, Runescape & Funorb, Funorb). I think they have made this for mechscape. Because as mechscape comes out then make they a third button: mechscape. What do you think?

It's pretty obvious there'll be a button for MechScape.

It's certainly plausible that it's in preparation for MechScape. Could it also be for the RSC server thing? I've not been following that.


It's been confirmed that like RuneScape there will be both free-to-play and subscription for MechScape.

This is the picture in the news post that shows what the new layout looks like.

Look at where it is blured out to the left of "Home", why would they blur out the name of the game ;)

The blur looks a bit like the words "Stellar Dawn" to me. Too long to be "RuneScape" or "FunOrb"

The funorb logo is larger then the runescape logo. Maybe is the mechscape (or steller dawn) logo smaller :)

I think it maybe sooner than we think...

All the css is there. Images are not up yet tho.

Not to mention this now officially ties Mechscape to Stellar Dawn.

Although its there don't expect it to be out anytime soon. Many css leaks have been up well before the content releases.

I wonder though, howcome it says stellardawn in the image, but mechscape in the css?

Maybe they can't be stuffed renaming all there work? heh. Maybe they will just rename what the players will see but under the hood it's all called mechscape?

Because it's Code Name is Mechscape, this was probaly done before they went with the name Stellar Dawn and just didn't see the point in chaning it.

I think we will see Stellar Dawn in the next week or 2.

This is imho proof (5 exclamation marks plox) that mechscape will be marketed as Stellar Dawn

They definitely changed this so they can slot more products in by simply adding more graphics, the old screen was really in runescape colours, this one is in jagex colours like their corporate site.

I doubt it, We would have heard some more people from press looking at the game...

hmm if the billing update was somewhat for stellar d, then purhaps the moving of all the servers/ equipment this week was for stellar d aswell, because they wouldnt want to do all that after they release it right?

But why would it say Mechscape if the game1 name was changed to StellarDawn...?

We now know why Olifers was fired:

He accidentally forgot to rename parts of the CSS in the billing system.

look at the blur in this image.

Look up the top where it says logged in as, Then says 'Game' Home, then log out.
Where it says the game name is blurred out.

But in the old picture it isnt.

You can clearly see 'Runescape home'.

Why would they blur out the Game name of the new page?
Probably because the picture was taken from going into the billing pages of the Stellar dawn webpage.

And to add to this, why would the page still say "There are two DIFFERENT products.... etc." when it would be three with MechScape/StellarDawn.

Yeah, it looks more like MechScape to me, too. Although it's pretty much impossible to tell.

I guess this is Jagex's announcement... seriosly they could of just came here and posted: ya ur correct, it is gona be called stellar dawn or made an announcement on runescape, why alll the weird ways of leaking info... first the stellar dawn game 1 in the client now this, wtf jagex, this ain't hide and seek.

And there's more, that Knowledge base error ( which i think was fixed), which lead to thinking the rules would be the same as in runescape.
Probbably even more that i can't remember at the moment.

I think the low hype idea is stupid, not releasing the game until it's awsome is ok but not giving even 1 ingame screenshot is stupid. Blizzard announces a trailer of a game that will come in 2-3 years and people can't wait till it comes out while jagex idea is: just one normal monday, everyone from mescapeworld will be thinking when is mechscape coming and then out of nothing there will be an announcement that the beta is open: most people that are not part of mechscapeworld would be like: WTF IS STELLAR DAWN? FUNORB? and not bother to try it out. xD

Fake or not if it's blurred then it obviosly says Stellar Dawn otherwise it wouldn't be blurred, and it wouldn't say mechscape since mechscape is a code name.
