Pointless really seeing as the rune pickaxe works too fast on most ores at 61 mining anyway...

Is this fake? *checks*
Have you really been mining with a rune axe? It is pretty slow.

I thought this was a fake because of how ugly the dragon pickaxe looks.

Ironic since the Red Axe quest just came out and dwarves are little miners..but it's probably just me.
I need to get my mining up.

wtf. why wouldnt they make adze be a dragon pick as well..... I just got adze a few months ago thinking "alright ive got a dragon wc axe and a dragon pick "if" it comes out." now its out.. and now ive got a rune pick... *sigh*
I'm not sure if they messed around with the rune axes and how fast it mined ores but it isn't very fast when you first start using your rune axe. Some ores become instant but you will notice a difference between 41 and 70 or even 80. Anything higher then coal ore isn't that fast. It could be faster.
Dragon pickaxe isn't a waste but I find it very unreasonable that smithing hasn't been updated at all really. Smithing goes in hand with mining.

I like how it looks!
It looks like a more effective weapon then a whip or GS. In honesty, it would be until you throw magic/gods into the mix.
