Im trying out a little short story of mine, and if you like it, I'll write more. I had to go before I really started it, so it was a bit rushed and cut short. Hope you like it.

The full moon floated before a tall bare hill, which a man sat upon. This man was in a silver full-body suit, and had a wrinkly face with ocean blue eyes. He sighed as he looked at the moon,
with a distant longing. For not to long ago, he would find his life never to be the same. He thought he could hear the trees below him whisper names, the names of his loved ones, the names of
the ones he had lost. He felt so horrible, know he could have saved them, but was too selfish and saved only his life. Why couldn’t he go back, and save them? Why, why had they had to be
murdered instead of me? Oh, he remembered that night so clearly.
