I enjoy a good laugh about the stupidity of religions every now and then. The South Park episode about Mormons left my shaking my head about how could anyone believe what they do; however, anti-religious comedy doesn't solve any problems; it actually prevents religious tolerance and puts people on the defensive when questioned about their religious beliefs.

I wonder how drunk this kid was when making this video.


I'm a Catholic and I found all the South Park stuff about Jesus to be HALARIOUS.

I bet this kid isn't a Christian, but he is right about sticking dicks in people's oranges. You have no right to put your dick in his orange. All that other shit you can go ahead and do, I don't care, just don't stick your dick in my oranges, and we're cool. The rest of the stuff...well...yeah.

Edit: Okay, the ending made me laugh. This kid doesn't have a clue what he's talking about, is obviously from Alabama, and probally just had a bit too much cough syrup. That kid doesn't reflect Christians in any way, but that is funny as hell.

I didn't watch the vid, reading the title was enough to understand that this topic is a stupid attemt to make fun of theists. I haven't ever heard any christian use that statement, and I can agree with you that it would be stupid if we did.

To make a long story short, I assumed that at least part of why you thought it was terrible was because of accuracy. But it obviously wasn't. Meh.


What about pro-religious comedy that makes fun of atheists? Do you think that without anti religious comedy, theists and atheists would have more mature debates?
