I can't really describe how well done this game is, it really is amazing. It's a fps, but really, it's the story that counts. The story is really the best part of the game with the biggest plot twist I have ever witnessed in a video game or even a movie. But really, in the end, this is a game your gonna wanna get and play though at least twice.
A line in the game was voted the #1 most meaningful quote in video game history.

One might suggest that questioning authority in a videogame, where structure is more or less mandatory and even the most nonlinear games still have an inescapably linear storyline, would be an ultimately meaningless gesture. I really can't put into words what a masterpiece of a game this is. Bioshock 2 is slated for a 2010 release, and it's expected to be amazing. I'll end this thread with a couple of my favorite quotes from the game.
