Ok, I'm doing this for class so I have to do certain things. Either way I want advise and your opinions on what you like and don't like. I can only do so much since I'm new to Photoshop still.

It's pretty good, if I were you I would have tried to bring some more of the colours (yes I'm Canadian) onto the bird, but still try to make it stand out a tad more (don't know if that's possible).

Edit: ^By that I mean to bring out the outlines more and keep them still partly opaque (but not fully).

I like it, but the only problems I have are that the grass looks like you went into hue/saturation (the colors are cool, but don't fit well) and the bird's lowered opacity.
