New secondary skill, new talent system and Path of the Titans, revamped Azeroth, new zones, tons and tons of stuff. Check it out.

And the same old same old gameplay... why, oh why do you have to milk my pockets blizzard?
I've seen nothing new in WOW since the game came out. I'm starting to wonder if blizzard is too scared to be a bit more ambitious, or is it that they are too afraid to disappoint the stockholders? I only play WoW for its storyline.. playing past that is just meaningless.

So you're happy to dish out $60 (AUS) + monthly fee on recycled content?

You obviously don't really know shit about WoW then.
Yes I would be quite happy to spend 60 bucks on this amazing expansion.

Looks good to me, especially the new races/class combos + remade zones.

Sounds good - I've always wanted to play as a Goblin. Finally I'll also get to use my drake in Azeroth :P

i hate wow... its too expensive; and destroys many people's social ability. i know at least 5 WoW players that have no friends and weigh over 300 pounds.

and RuneScape doesn't? RuneScape you can play for years and never get maxed in anything, WoW you can play for a few months and be maxed.
Sorry but people using that argument really have no clue what they're talking about... you don't just suddenly have no friends and weigh 300 pounds after playing WoW, it happens over time, and if you play RuneScape I believe you have a way higher chance of doing that. Some skills take ~3 months to max(no lifing), and that's just 1 skill. Now imagine that over the course of a few years and you have a problem.

And I hate retarded posts.
The same can be said about almost any mmorpg.

Not a WoW player, but that looks awesome. It's a really bold step and the storylines that come of it should be immense.

Not a WoW person, I like smaller community based MMO's. WoW has great story line yet it's quite a bit too much money for my entertainment. Jagex all the way! :)

Same can be said for Runescape and all other MMO's.

World of Warcraft is OK in my opinion, but all I have to really say about Cataclysm is: Another expansion already?
Cataclysm is out next year then? A two year gap seems a bit normal... if it were a Harry Potter movie. But it's an MMO, so it really makes Blizzard look like they're just doing it purely for the $$$. I must say though, the whole idea of tearing apart Azeroth seems pretty cool. I shouldn't say much more about this, because I've only bought the WoW battlechest (came with BC only) and my highest leveled avatar is 40-something.
Good news is: Shorter acronym ftw.

After quitting WoW twice I can tell you that this particular expansion failed to renew my interest... now Diablo 3 on the other hand.... that looks supreme.

I tried to get into WoW but was unable, mostly because I was super into RuneScape and my RuneScape clan at the time. I've been tempted to try WoW again since RS doesn't interest me, but I don't want to make an investment to buy WoW and all the expansions now, and then powerlevel, etc.

Why do people who dislike WoW even bother posting here? Seriously.. gtfo >.<
I am looking forward to play a Worgen. All the new stuff they're doing in the new expansion seems pretty cool - almost like it's a whole new game.

The game was just too tedious for me. (Although I must say, Runescape is far more tedious.) I found the quests really poor and that was a turn off.
One thing I just dislike in general is that you can't log into any world with the same character like you can with Runescape. It's kind of a dilema... If you choose a low populated realm, there will be very few people to do anything with. Choose a full realm and you have to compete for everything.
I've played the trial and I played as a Druid, but I just found it boring after the initial fun. This said, I don't really enjoy any MMOs now ;P

Because if you post a topic on a forum full of all sorts of people you should expect that not everyone who is going to reply will like the game. :P

If WoW wasn't $15 a month, plus the game which I'd need to rebuy because I don't have the install discs anymore or any expansions, I'd consider playing. Big raids sound fun, but as I've heard, all the cool stuff is at the endgame content, so the whole first month or two is boring grinding to have fun.

Meh, endgame isn't always all it's cracked up to be.
I could never find a good raid group, and if I did my gear would be too nooby and they'd cuss me out of the group.
But of course... I was on the dreaded Stormrage... Blizzard's guinea pig... lol.

You don't have to buy the discs again - you can download the client for free (anyone can).

End-game World of Warcraft gets old real fast. Generally if you don't have a guild that you like being in you don't remain on the game for long. Though yes the first wing of Ulduar was fun.

You can have nine characters a server.
The reason it's fifteen dollars a month, is because of the constant updates and running those servers are a lot... harder (for lack of better term) that it is to run RuneScape's. They also have a lot more servers than RS
Well, at least to my knowledge.
