I'm just wondering if Mechscape will be like one of those games where you make some units and control more than one character at a time or just controlling and updating one player?
The reason I wonder about this because I only like to play games where I control one character.
Input your thoughts on how you would want to play mechscape. (either one of these systems or maybe another system of play-style you know about)

I think the term you're looking for is "Real Time Strategy."
Anyway, I agree. If you have to (of if there is an advantage to) controlling more then one character at a time, I think it would be over complicated.

I just re-read my original post and I realized that my English sounded horrible. That you for your opinion and giving me that correct term.

I would like to see some gameplay like Mass Effect, third person is better for an MMO, and the action is still enough so that skill plays a huge part. The GUI also allows a full amount of rpg elements.
Of course my dream is to see Mechwarrior style gameplay, but that is too much to hope for in an MMO

Well it depends on how they pull of multiple characters. Atlantica Online did a good job with allowing 9 char parties that play like a highly customizable character.
I don't want it to be an RTS though that's for sure

Chances are that you will only control one person at a time, however with Jagex breaking away from the current MMO style of gameplay you may be quite surprised.

I doubt that there will be more than one player you can play as, but with Jagex it may be a possibility. If a different race is only needed for a small number of quests, or not a all, I think this will be better than changing characters for every single quest.
