I think we already knew this...
And not all of them have been confirmed as being playable. Its likely Humans will be playable, but its possible they control the 'Mechs'. Pliigi have been confirmed to be playable. The others haven't as far as I know.

I'm pretty sure that the mortiga and pliigi are the only truly comfirmed ones.

No, Humans and Pliigi are the confirmed ones. Mortiga is a speculation, as is "Mechs." Personally, though, I think mechs will not be a playable race -- Just because they said one race will utilize technology, etc, does not mean that the race IS technology. I think Humans will be a high tech race (Or maybe a race of the classic hyperintelligent aliens.) The mechs, robots, and all that will just be accessories for the race(s) to use.

How can anyone think that mechs will be playable characters, I've seen this a few times. There's yet to be a game or movie to have mechs that are sentient/independant. They are ALWAYS controlled by humans or other sentients, usually like a tank or fighter jet.

Mortiga sounds more like a npc type rather than a playable race due to the size and structure of it. The other alien race sounds like a good race due to the humanoid appearance. Mechs will not be a race but you might be able to pilot these due to the fact they are not free thinking, they are machines.

Mechs could be a playable race. Don't think of mechs as huge machines, think of them like robots that you can use. Basicly humans exept made of metal. So mechs might be a playable race.

Mech = Vehicle

I have nothing against robots as a playable race though.

Yeah. a Mech is a human controlled vehicle. So maybe it might be a Skill - to learn how to operate one?

All i'm saying, is that i'm playing anything but a human! :)
