Sorry if this is in the wrong section.
I was going to use my glory amulet to tele to Draynor earlier when I decided against it. I was in the GE which isn't that far from Draynor so I thought "Meh, I'll walk." So I press the 'Nowhere' option under the list of places to tele to and instead of getting rid of the selection window, I get teleported here:


I mean wtf. Now I'm stuck here and my glory teleports don't even frigging work. The spellbook icon vanished for some reason too. Theres also this weird new icon where the summoning tab used to be. It looks like a sign or a postbox or something. If I click it nothing happens though.

If I open up my world map to see where I am I get this:


It looks like the icon :s
Any suggestions on getting back? I don't know if this is some kind of practical joke by Jagex or if I will get back to RuneScape after some time, but I sure don't think its funny

Because thats the new tab we saw in pictures. Please please tell me this is no fake. When you click on the tab what does it say? Can you take more pictures if this isnt fake, and maybe download hypercam and record a little?

The spellbook icon aint there.

The corners are messed up on map pic. The dark blue square on the top right is messed up and the same thing for the opposite side. I'm calling fake.

well if its not fake have you bothered to show the problem to Jagex? which if it's real, you really should.

Make a youtube video, proving you went to RuneScape.com so it's not a fake, and then we'll help you out.

logging out and in might restore the spellbook icon, but since it's gone it looks to me like it was an evil bob random event gone wrong.

He claims it doesn't work.


Anyways, obvious fake is obvious.

Just send Jagex a request to bump your character (as if you were glitched into not being able to move, etc)...You should be fine

As for the pic being valid, I dunno and don't really care lol...but I do find it interesting that a glory did that to you, I may ask around an RC clan chat or two..but I am not expecting to find that this is legitimate.

Lol if that is real it's pretty cool. If you can't get out try using RSOF, hopefully it would will catch a Jmods attention.

If it's faked it wouldn't be that hard, just go find someplace on karamja or mos'le 'armless and take that snapshot then edit a world map picture.

However not faked makes this a lot more interesting.

I just thought of something, I most likely wouldn't be concerned about leaving that place if it was some crazy weird place nobody has been before...I would map it all out and profit from the pioneer status and lulz.

Hey guys, I'm back.
I think this has gone far enough now so... don't hate me, but yes, it is fake for those of you that didn't fall for it
It was pretty easy. I made the map fake, then stuck it on a minimap, screenied a picture just next to Shantay Pass and got a random chatbox to finish it off.

Good fake but I noticed it was a fake pretty quickly when I saw your characters shadow a bit out of place (unless that wasn't adjusted at all and that was in the game, but it looks out of place to me). Other than that, good fake.

Well, your eyes decieved you then. I was actually standing there. Its near Shantay Pass. I just faked the minimap, added a random chatbox etc.

Oh? I could tell it was a fake, because if you look at the area where the island is positioned, you can see parts of boxes, so it wasn't posisioned just right.
