before you start flaming me, for this in the wrong topic, yes this has to do with mechscape, what mod mmg said in his cc was "yes there is a big update at the end of august, were keeping close to our chest, you'll just have to wait and see."

Mod Korpz has announced an update to the chat system by the end of August. This will be an update to both FunOrb and Runescape. The improved chat will be company wide and will probably have to do with Mechscape compability (my guess). I believe they have made the chat they really want for Mechscape, and as their chat systems are company wide, each individual part needs to have upgraded chats. Sounds nice. The chat in Jagex games is terrible IMO. Do you have link to sources?

EDIT: Actually i have never had a single conversation with a friend in RS. Always use a IM.

Explain to me how exactly it would be someones loss if they didn't trust you? That sentence made no sence whatsoever.

if they didn't trust me, they wouldn't read my topics, and they wouldn't get an interesting read...thats the loss.

Hi all, original post on fun orb.

Things should be fixed now, sorry for the problems caused. Once again it was to do with an update to the chat system that is going live company wide (us and RuneScape) later in the month. It's rather complex and often the problems involved only come to light when there are a lot (thousands) of players on line at any one time. I'd like to be able to guarantee that we've managed to eradicate all potential issues involved, but I'm afraid I can't do that at this time.

I can however say that current problems are fixed, and once again my most humble apologies for any problems we've caused you.

About time we got a big update. 2009 has been crap so far.

This does make sense, considering Mod MMG said that there was one final push needed that was soon to come, before the release of Mechscape.

It sounds to me like this: When they were developing MS they did accounts differently, in preparation for MS they are changing all other accounts into MS version (including chat), this could include the ability to have 4 playable characters on 1 accounts and also the ability to change your display name.

it doesn't necessarily have to be released at the same time as MS
