Searching for the light
Max Lipina
Searching forever for the light,
Marks of graffiti fill the night,
Silently walking and looking,
Upwardly reaching and stumbling,
Searching for the light.
Trekking to the next location,
Finding myself in permutation,
Traveling by train, instead of plane,
Believing the heart, one must part,
Searching for the light.
Arrives in due time only to find,
The darkness touching the mind,
Shapes ‘n blurs in the distance,
Refraining to act in temperance,
Searching for the light

I usually don't like poetry but this seemed like it flowed much better than the poetry I've read before.

Beautiful flow and a great poem. It brightened up my day and so I thank you for that.

//Same topic, different poem.
The Truth
Searching for peace at night,
I started searching for the light,
hoping and searching,
waiting and learning,
that someday I will rest,
so I can know the light.

I usually don't like poetry too much... but both of your poems were quite good. They both flowed and they had a grand atmosphere to it.
