Some months ago, 50% of MechScape World's future revenue was pledged to helping charities. (
You can read the old topic here.) Charity is a habit not easy to break. So, for the past few months, traffic has been increasing as has our net revenue. This partner-level donation to Doctors Without Borders is our way of making YOUR time on our forums help save lives in many countries. Thank you, MechScape World users. As we continue to grow, so will our philanthropic exploits and we hope that other fansites follow the charge to convert some of their traffic to saving lives.

This is awesome. 250 dollars is alot to donate to charity's and can do alot.
Its so cool that a gaming forum can do something like this, it makes me like this place so much more.
Great job Mechscape World

Charity is a good thing, not many fansites do that.
Go MSW!
DWB is also a great charity.

Thanks to all who visited this site and made it a possibility! ^_^
I'm a big fan of charities and have worked as a volunteer for the British Red Cross providing basic first aid emergency life support training (specifically for children). In charities you'll find some of the most dedicated, hard-working and inspirational people you can imagine. However, they do need resources to do their good work which is why I encourage everyone who can afford it to donate what they can to make the (non-MechScape) world a better place (or do volunteer work and help out on the front line).

Wow, I had no idea that by regularly checking for information on a video game I was helping out doctors. And strangely, none of my money is missing.
P.S. is it a good idea to put so much information about yourself online for all to see? I have seen some creeeeepy dudes in Everett.

Yeah giving money is easy, going there and spending time and putting effort into directly helping (looking for more donations, etc..and making use of the money donated) is another :D. But donations are just as important, good job Mechscape World :). Thanks for making the right decision Laura and MSW Staff :).

I had to dis Everett because I have never been to Snohomish I tend to stick to cities along I-5 Hahaha. Most I know about that city is they got a Casino there with REALLY ANNOYING radio ads.
Anyway back on subject. Knowing all this stuff will help me to cope with all the stupid ads I see. At least the pain they caused my eyes/brain helped fund a good cause.

Our donations go towards our server and improving MechScape World. The donations we make to charities come from half of our advertising revenue (The other half covers the server on top of donations.) So this is your viewing and clicking ads at work, not your donations (Though we really appreciate those, too!)

When you're a kid/teen it's understandable to be a bit afraid of the boogie men out there, and for good reason. I'm a web developer, an artist, and a hobby photographer. Like Rhoi, I
