Is it me or does all of the art work and wall papers for MS look like Tao from Warhammer 40k?

is a Whirlwind tank, from the Space Marines army. ALSO warhammer.
it all just looks a bit suspicious to me..

PS: the tank even has the exact same track treads as the whirlwind tank from warhammer..

As indicated on the gallery page (and stated more explicitly elsewhere) that's from Warhammer, not from MechScape, but was drawn by a former Jagex artist. The official artwork is all MechScape, and most of Darren Bs' is MechScape also. But Tom W, Kristian F and Samantha H stuff is pretty much all non-MechScape.

Yeah, I have also seen a space marine dreadnought in there somewhere.

On a semi-related note, I hope they have some Warhammer 40k references in Mechscape.

I love the RTS games they made for it.

The space marines and tau should have some influence on the mechs.
The pliigi remind me of tau kroots.
I am hoping that mechscape will not mirror 40k and have more unique features.

I do agree that Warhammer style is what I'm kind of hoping for as they have some mean looking monsters.
