I think it might be a little over the top, but i kind of want to play it, because it actually looks good.
I wanted to know what everyone thought of it. Does it seem silly, Does it outrage you ?
or are you secretly evil and can't wait to play it
and what are everyones thoughts on columbine ?
My half-sister was in highschool in Colorado, when this happened so it was crazy for me.
i'm going to play it right now...

I am not outraged by it, its just a game. Sure its foolish and misguided for someone to make a game like this, but still its just a game. The only thing I'm outraged by is the public outrage to anything that's not politically correct.

If people have the right to make games like that, people also have the right to be offended by them.

Why would someone be offended by a game? I can understand why some people would be offended by it but I am speaking about public outrage to the stupidest things. For example just recently Apple took out an app for Iphone called "baby shaker", you see a badly drawn baby on the screen and you shake the screen until 2 xx on the baby. People were flipping like shit over it. How stupid are some people if they can't separate a stupid game from reality.

Why does ''public outrage'' outrage you? There's ''public outrage'' about everything, and that's not going to change.

Imagine if somebody made a game about The Holocaust. Not like Call of Duty, mind you.
As in you're some Nazi in a death camp and you go around obtaining points by stabbing, burning or shooting Jews. Extra points if you can get them to eat their own feces.
There should be a fine line on what you can and cannot make a video game about.

I don't think videogame makers should be told what they should and shouldn't make a game about, however, this kind of game is just plain sick.

Maybe I'm crazy but that's a Nazi mentality, don't you think?

There's nothing worse than the real atrocity happening in real life, but when someone makes it into a game, it's like the creator is wanting to replicate the dreadful event yet again. It is that that outrages me more than anything. That is just how I feel.

Yes, it's disgusting, and yes it's sick, but telling people what they can and can't make is going too far.

I see what your saying, but what if your sister was killed in the shoting. How would you fell about the game. In the same why what if someone shook your new baby brother to death. It doesn't offend us (or me anyway

) because we can't relate to it.

Yeah, you can't really understand, unless it has happened, that game is disturbing though. Recently, a game company held back a game about some Iraq battle, sure I thought it was dumb but if your brother/son had died in that battle it could be offending.

This game is accused of being sick, but games like Resident Evil, a game about corpses coming back to life and slaughtering people in brutal ways, is considered just another zombie game. How would that game make you feel if you knew someone that died, and Resident Evil made fun of that by making people come back from the dead?
As for the Nazi concentration camp game, I don't know how fun that would be. It doesn't sound like there would be much of a challenge.

The way I see it, they're doing no more harm than history class is as teaching you about the events that occurred.
