They haven't come in the top 100 best companies in the UK to work in for no reason
Gawd, it felt like some of those iCould videos were giving me seizures, no offence

But anyway, must keep a lookout on thejagexchannel on Youtube :)

Cool.
When I first saw this, the thing that came to mind was that this person would get right to work on a Mechscape Trailor. While I hope that is what this position is for, I realize it was probably posted for other reasons. ie. to replace the person who created the icould! videos.

Awww, i just noticed it and was about to post a thread about it =P
Meh, pretty good news i think ^_^
(About time they used their YT channel...)
Dang, this sounds like a job I'd really love to do. I wouldn't mind working at Jagex -- I don't share Laura's hatred of Brits, so I could handle working and living with (some) of them, I'm no good at programming, and I'm sub-par (In my eyes) at graphic design... But I'm not bad at video work.

And they'll help you relocate!
Jagex would be my ideal place to work, I mean,
they make video games!
And past that rather childish idea, it's not a bad place to work practically, decent pay, excellent working conditions and good prospects.

Maybe they'll decided to make a commercial for it considering it says that they will make promotional videos. One thing is for sure though is that I'll be checking on there youtube account frequently.

Umm no?
I would be rather interested in a weekly recap of the MechScape updates and such. It would be awesome for promotion of their current games as well. If you have the gameplay shown in videos, you will have plenty of people interested.

They must get a lot of requests, and so somebody has to do some heavy clicking.

It's about time! The most indepth preview before playing (or deciding not to) RuneScape is usually a sentence from a friend or a screenshot. And those screenshots are often pre-HD, too... If this won't get people playing, I don't know what will.

Jagex probably tried making the iCould videos themselves, then realized they couldn't.... so they decide to pay someone a lot of money to do it for them.

iCould is a careers guidance website for UK schools which tries to help people think about their future. Jagex didn't film or edit any of the videos and doesn't run the project. Jagex helped the scheme by having some of its employees participate by being interviewed by the iCould team.

I think Jagex is safe hiring the guys who edited the iCould videos -- The problem was camera work. Or rather, the lack of it. The editor probably saved it as best he could.
