OK!! its been a while (Sorry been very sick lately sick.gif ) but here it is!! It is based off of the 2 of these mixed together
(Heres what I based the drawing off of)
It did not take me long to draw, maybe 2 hours then 40 min to render sounds about right? Hate it love it, want me to never post on this site again?....let me know!! Thanks everyone!!

P.S. This was done in AutoCAD 2007 render'd in AutoCAD 2007

Heres the "goods" Unless you dont like em then heres some "stuff" blink.gif

Comments, suggestions, anything is apreciated biggrin.gif ninja.gif

Pretty darn good. The only thing I'd work on is the front of the missle pod (it kinda looks like cement with spikes). I'd definitely like to see more of your work.

totaly right man, cant believe i missed it. It had the materials attached to those shapes, just forgot to turn the mapping on in render, heres what i meant for it to look like!! Thanks bud though!!

Mm well firstly, Its been confirmed the image you based it off of is not related to Mechscape, though thats not saying Mechscape won't have some sort of gargantuan missile launcher platform, and if it did, i'de rather it be yours.

That's an awsome platform. But umm, it seems to me, it'd be more appropiate if it was more..mobile-looking, aka able to move around either on treads or with feet. I only say that because you have a chaingun/gatling gun attached to it, or are those supposed to be spider legs which means it would be mobile? Annd if so i think the legs need more.. versatility and stock to them

i know its not going to be in mechscape, they original pic i based it off made it to this site, so i thought this should as well :) also i drew the deet it had on it, trying to go for the original version (Even though i mixed the 2 together)

oh, i see.

Woah! That's amazing! ohmy.gif

Very well done. I can tell that you spent quite a bit of time on that (although you say it only took you 2 hours). You could possibly make your model be a Ground and Air Mech. Able to travel on land quickly, but fly faster.

I preferred the lava harvester but this is still really good. I, along with I biggrin.gif (damn why does his name have to be I?), have problems with the missile turret thingymabob, although it still looks better it still looks like something that is about to fire a big block with spikes. rather than missiles. Maybe have the missiles sticking out a bit? I don't know but that part still doesn't look very "realistic"

E: Just looked at it again and I think it might also be because the missile heads are so pointed. If they are the size of the heads, then the fins will be awfully small, (as will the shaft) as the missile head and hole seem to merge as one suggesting they are the same. Maybe make the heads more rounded and increase the diameter of each. Or better yet have one firing out of the thing if possible!

Thats SWEET! Is that program free?

Wow, that's amazing! Tell me, is AutoCAD easy to work with? How do you make models in it?

hey thanks man i greaatly ap[reciate the feedback :) Im really not sure how to comment on the whole AutoCAD thing....becuase I had to take over 7 classes. And from all the stuff i learned (Everything from wtf is autocad to AutoCAD advanced programming) is that you either get it or not. Honestly (im honestly not trying to be like...oh look at me(i swear)) but I was told "I got CAD very well, its like...what I do for fun. I do it at work, i do it for fun (Posts on here) idk i just love CAD, not just cad, but anything design. Ive loved art since I could remember, and ive loved computers forever as well. I recall in many CAD classes all but myself and another guy (random student) dropping out of classes at finals, because it was too hard. but idk I just understand it i guess...God blessed me with the understanding. If your good at visualizing, problem solving, or space conseption, id say give it a go...see where it takes you. As far as the how to draw in it goes...all the 2d modeling is polylines (Several single lines that make a shape...can not be extruded due to the fact that they are just lines. however if you use the "pedit" (polyedit) command it makes all those lines into a shape that can be extruded :D Ill try to get a very fast tutorial or how to together for yah. Any questions please ask. Also!! the reason I think you guys think my modles look good, its all on your materials you apply befor you render it...thats a long process right there gotta get everything just right...but in the end you get what I post or better :D

thats really good, keep it comin'

Very nice dude :)

This is my second year with AutoCAD and my first year (just a few months) of Inventor. From what I have seen, it looks like it took more than just 2 or so hours. It looks very well put together. Although most of it is symmetrical, and just a mirror over, the detail between each piece is impressive. You've got a good eye for making things come together and look outrageously legit.

If you have ever worked in Inventor, I'd love to see one of your projects for MSW exploded (it that's the right term.)

I do like it more, you've definitely improved it but I still maintain that you should have a rocket shooting out with a nice trail of fire/smoke, that would look cool!!
