Hellenistic-based democracy
Run by no philosophy
Plato thinks, and I agree,
Thinkers would improve on thee
Sounds like paradox to me
Can power friend philosophy?
'Sit just coincidentally?
That our leaders, unsound are thee?
People want to be set "free"
But's freedom what they really need?
To be free's to live eternally
For death is just a tax on thee
The paradox: democracy
"Pay your taxes to be free"
The afterlife's eternity?
Then why is all this grief to be?
The answer to these, I can't see
They're just quiet ponderings
Observations made by me
Paradox fills the world I see.
