This is an important note to everyone here who subscribed!

To recieve updates about "Future Products", you have to edit your email settings and tick the box to enable this feature of the email subscription! This is disabled by default!

Here is a guide to enabling email notification of Future Jagex Products:

#1 After you have subscribed, go to the Runescape Homepage and Login to your Account:

#2 After you have logged in, hover over "Account" and then click on "Account Management":

#3 Now scroll down to "Account Management" and click on "Email Settings":

#4 You will then be directed to a webpage rather like the Members Subscription page after having to re-enter your Account Details for Security Purposes.

#5 Once you are on the Email Settings page, you will realise how Jagex have left Email Notifications for Future Services unchecked by default. Hm... I wonder why?

Proceed by checking "Yes Please" and clicking "Submit":

You will then be sent a confirmation code to your email address, follow the link on the page you are lead to after clicking Submit and you will arrive at a page with a box for a confirmation code that you will recieve in your email from Jagex. Copy and paste the confirmation code from the email into the confirmation box, and click Submit.

You now have Email Notifications for future Jagex products enabled. I wonder why they made that a seperate option and had it as "No thanks" by default? thumbsup.gif

Signed up. I'm wondering if they release the sneak preview there as hype o.O
Man
I can't see Jagex giving any sneak peeks into Mechscape to their newsletter subscribers. I think it will be mostly used to release their behind the scenes, company announcements, game updates and new releases.

Either way, I signed up. :o
killrrhubarb
Sounds Interesting.
I would love to receive information about what jagex is doing, regardless of whether it is about mechscape or not.
I'm going to sign up.

Could you post the method to get to that link rather than a link itself. I'm sorry but I'm extremely cautious when giving my password straight away into a link.

Go to www.runescape.com (Not linked, because you are cautious)

Go to the "Account" tab, and go to account management.

Scroll down to e-mail registration.

Fill out the infomation, and there you go biggrin.gif
VirtualKing
Probably they made this to announce Mechscape.

Probably they made this to announce Mechscape.

I don't think that, i think it will be a Jagex newsletter, so infomation on funOrb and RuneScape would also come.

However, release it now is a good guess they did it for MechScape.
Refleax
I'll go and subscribe :p
Jiblix
I'll subscribe as well.

That was what i was hinting at in my post. smile.gif

It was a rhetorical question anyhow. You got to admit that is a rather sly thing that Jagex have done for us MechScape Fans. Oh well, that's just them being all discreet as usual... biggrin.gif
Pliigi
Took me a while to get around to signing up, but I finaly did - kind of reminds me of the newsletter in RSC. I hope they announce MS via it biggrin.gif

It's annoying how you have to enter a code for everything.

They have to confirm it's your email.
