MODERN WARFARE 2 CALL OF DUTY 6 the newest installment in the COD series, although it is no longer COD for the modern warfare series, i guess it branched out. hopefully infinityward will keep making COD's.

I own Call of Duty 2 for the PC, and I've played four and five on X-Box at my friends house.
Overall, I'm not a fan of the series. They are entertaining, but I'm more of a fan of third person shooters, third person sneakers, and RTS.
The only FPS games I've really enjoyed are those made by valve (and the first Halo game.)

MW2 is pretty much the only console game I'm looking forward to this year. CoD 4 is a prime example of how to create a good single-player and multi-player game; if MW2 can improve on its' predecessor at all then Infinity Ward are going to be smashing some records come November.

i have cod 5 and it was fun.... the russian part was good. and nazi zombie mode was so fun. nothing wrong with multiplayer either. i think they should add call of duty on to the game name. infinity ward is trying to take the brand and change it into something its not. valve games own. they made the best team based multiplayer fps team fortress 2. halo 1 was good. halo 2 was good + duel wielding and being able to play a bit of alien. halo 3 was good + added bubble shields and suck which added more strategy and the storyline summed it up. there was no fail in cod 5 or halo games and how did they go downhill?
EDIT: treyarch made the first game it wouldnt exist without them so dont make comments that they are ruining it play cod 3 than cod 5 and you will see its improving. i bet half of the treyarch bashers havent played anything other cod game than cod4.

No they didn't, Infinity Ward made the first Call of Duty. The CD case is sitting right here on my desk and it has the Infinity Ward logo on it. Treyarch made COD: United Offensive, which was the expansion pack to the first COD.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Co-Op, but I doubt they'll have Zombie maps. They'll probably think of some new kind of "mini-game" instead.

I doubt they'll have a Nazi Zombie mode seeing as that came from Treyarch whom Infinity Ward have been keen to try and distance themselves from (hence the dropping of the CoD prefix after Activision presumably said no to Infinity Ward's request to be the sole creators of the CoD franchise again, offering them the 'Modern Warfare' spin-off series instead). As others have said though I wouldn't be surprised if they come up with another type of mini-game.

Hopefully the game isn't just about online. Cod4's campaign was super easy, except veteran, hardened was meh, hopefully they make this one longer.
