I can't believe it! Arcanists is coming to the iPhone! Imagine playing against wizards from all around the world in any place at any time... I can't wait!
We always had a sneaking suspicion Jagex would expand into the mobile gaming market.

I can believe it, since I've been talking about Jagex planning for games on phones (specifically the iPhone) for a while now. Very cool, tho - and perfect timing.

good old java! since they are the java experts they should have started on the phones a long time ago! its pretty nice.

Java isn't supported on the iPhone unless you break the warranty, so how is Jagex going to do this?

That means it's coming out on the ipod touch.
I have an iPod Touch, so this app may be available to me. It won't be all that useful seeing as I can only use WiFi in my house or at other WiFi hotspots (And if I'm looking for WiFi I probably have my laptop with me), but it's still cool, especially for iPhone users.
What I'd like to see is Armies of Geilinor on the iPhone. I never liked Arcanists much, but I do enjoy AoG in small doses.

Oh, if Jagex made a phone....I'd buy it. Not that I could, being in the US.

Perhaps a bit late, but I think it's time to confirm that this was in fact an april fools.
It seems my jPhone was a little too good! Or maybe I should have opted for something a bit more silly...
I wish it would come out on the iPhone, but it's unlikely it will be the first mobile platform Jagex embrace. I imagine they will first port it to regular phones that support Java. iPhone stinks for Java support; though, Sun are working on it...
Jagex do have mobile ambitions, but good Java support would really help.

I live there too, but there is a Jagex Store website - and you could probably order one there if they ever did that, I guess. *Never bought anything but membership* I'd hope that Jagex could make their own mobile device that you could play MechScape on, I'd buy one right away lol.

It only works if you actually have an iPhone/iPod Touch. I mean, Arcanists would be totally awesome on the iPhone -- personally I'd be jumping off my seat if it was... Imagine playing it anywhere, at anytime, with multiplayer.
Please tell me if you think it isn't cleaver that you have one... If not, get out!
