In thought of noticing the many topics of users unaware of how to make a organized, useful, working recruitment topic, I have decided to put my skills to the test in making a guide especially for you.
Organized
- Don't have information jumbled together or all in a couple setences.
- Space things out such as: Contact Info, Requirements, Clan Events, Clan Pics, History/About the clan.
- Use bold, italics, underline, or color to seperate different areas of information so on quick viewing a user can tell what information goes with what and things don't get mixed.
Information
- Provide information such as: Contact information (Forum/Website), History/About the Clan, Requirements to Join, Number of Members, List of Event types, Ranks in the clan, Allies of the Clan, F2P/P2P or both, Skilling or Pking clan, ect! Anything you think new recruits should know!
- Use correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar! I'm not the best, but I at least try when posting, you should too. Using proper English will set a good and better impression on new recruits.
Pictures
- A clan banner always makes a clan recruitment topic look more sleek, stylish, professional and welcoming.
- A good number (not too many, don't want to drown them!) of pictures from like clan get-togethers, wars, events, and so on are always great for new recruits to see what it is like at those events.
Thanks, please try to use this guide when posting a clan recruitment topic!
*Thanks to DeMaximus for some grammar corrections.
