Heya guys. I'm back, and this time I'm wondering what you guys prefer, Wii, Ps3, or the 360.

Personally, I LOOVVEEE the wii, cuz its just sooo fun!

Xbox360. then the wii. Then the ps3. No one likes the ps3.

I play the Wii the most but I can't say I prefer it.


My older sister does.

For her it's the PS3, 360, then the Wii.

For my younger brother, it's the 360, then the PS3, then a rock, then a stick, then a gopher, then the wii.

I haven't really tried the Wii, so I can't say anything about it other than it looks awesome. I don't like the xbox controllers. I don't know about the ps3 either, but since the controller is the same as the previous PS consoles I would probably like it.

When I see the xbox 360 I turn 360 degrees and walk away.

How can you like the Wii? There aren't any games for it... I bought a Wii a year ago at Christmas and haven't played on it since 2 weeks afterwards... my mate wanted to buy one so I lent him mine... got it back after about 5 months and he said he hadn't been on it since the day after I lent it him...

Theres about 2 good games for it.. online system sucks... the gamecube is probably more powerful (especially at playing Zelda) The controller is a gimmicky piece of crap.

They should call it the Nintendo Flick tbh... I wan't my money back for being lied to through advertisements that make it look like the controller is actually any good!

360 or PS3?... well I only have a 360 but I heard the online system on the PS3 sucks... friends list per game? the hell? (if thats true) And whilst we're on the topic of online... Wii's online system? -tumbleweed- oh ok... you can add each others 16 digit number but theres a reason why nobody uses ICQ anymore and a reason why domain names rule over IP addresses!!!

For the wii... if anyone says I don't have any games, I haveeeee.. Super Mario Galaxy (probably the only good game), Zelda, Wii sports... and i've rented all the other good stuff like metroid prime and so on

I've had two 360s, and both have gotten the red ring of death. Still prefer it over either of the others, though.

Wiiiiiiiiiiiiii... I love the Wii. I hate the lack of decent games, though. I'd love for the graphics on it to be better, but they're not so bad they ruin my gaming experience. But I love the controller. I hate that they're releasing Motion Plus crap NOW, when they should have had that as part of the controller to begin with.

(Edited to add...) Errr...Well, I guess one could just guess my answer by my siggy/avvie... Which I've had for years now. I made it a couple months before the Wii came out.


Then, the 360. But that's possibly only because we have one. Graphically, I think the 360 and PS3 are pretty much the same. If one is better, it's not a big difference. Not big enough to completely dismiss the other system based on it. So the 360 is better because it's cheaper (hence why we have it, and not the PS3. Well...there is another not quite legal reason...Though it would fall into the cheaper category... ). The PS3 is just too expensive. And supposedly hard to develop for, so games get delayed or don't come out. (But don't yell at me if I'm wrong, if there's any Sony Fanboys... I don't pay attention to PS3 news )

If I was given a free 360 and PS3... Then, I have no clue... Wait no...Still 360. Unless the freeness included unlimited free games for life... Then, I would have no clue.

I only own a PSP, and a PS2 which is broken down. Anyways, I do my gaming leeching off my friend's systems.

I say the Ps3, then the Xbox 360.. Lastly the Wii.

The only title that is out now on the Wii that looks worth buying is "madworld".

lol...Walking over it would probably be good for you as well, I guess. Just watch out for the TV and other expensive electronics.

We own the PS3 and 360 but I prefer the PS3. I also will not have anything to do with the Wii. I only know one person who actually owns it (not like he really plays it either).
People are just fanboys of the 360 because of Halo (3 sucked compared to 1 and 2) and like to hate on the PS3. Imo, 360 and PS3 are both good and the Wii sucks.

PS3, then the Xbox and then the wii. I played wii when i was in japan and hated the silly graphics. Every japanese person seemed to have it though.

This is what everyone is shouting out for - the ability to access your friends list without having to quit your game. As is stands, the PS3 will tell you when you receive a message, or when a friend logs on, but you can't interact with them unless you quit your game and go back to the XMB.
Xbox 360 owners can, at any time, call up a list of friends, see what they're playing, voice or text message them or check out their games collection. PS3 owners can't. That's a massive oversight in the age of social, online gaming. Quite frankly, fixing this should be at the top of Sony's priority list.

And to the person that says he has a PS3 and wants a Wii... buy one then come back and tell us what you think of it :P It may end up like everyone elses Wii, covered in dust.

I am able to access my XMB during a game and read my messages without quitting. (I couldn't access the XMB during FF7 so I am assuming it only works during PS3 gameplay.)
I was able to see my friends and send a message also. I'm not sure about voice chat, though.

I'll get back to you in a minute to see if I can check my friends after I connect it to the internet.

1. Xbox 360 2. ps3 3. wii Because, I'm a microsoft fanboy, thus hating everything that is from sony. It's much much cheaper, I'd say same graphics (may be a little bit less than the ps3, but w/e) Xbox has GTA IV DLC & Fallout DLC PS3 has none. Wii is just lame. I prefer the gamecube over the wii. I mean, all their games are only fun to party play, except maybe 3 games :c

My personal favourite out of the 3 consoles would be the PlayStation 3.

I'd say PS3, Wii is just way too behind the other two technology wise and most of the 'games' for it are for 8 year olds. Also in my opinion the online system is terrible. I'd take the 360 over the Wii, although it has a 1/3 failure rate and I heard customer service sucks.



It depends how you look at it really. Xbox360's online is more accessible and has more community features where as PS3's online uses dedicated servers for first party games, which results in more players being able to play at the same time.
Example:

XBox360:
Gears of War 2: 10 players
Halo 3: 16 players

Playstation 3:
Killzone 2: 32 players
Resistance 2: 60 players
MAG: 250 players

I have a 360 but when I've played my friends PS3 it's alot funner.

I voted for Xbox 360. Becaus I have one. And it's nearly as good as the PS3 while it costs way less.
And I just don't like Sony.. I also don't like Microsoft, but w/e... If Apple releases a console, it's mine!!

Although Wii is the worst out of all of them, you have no right to say it falls behind technology wise... It has movement sensors, wich are really well developed, does a PS3 or an Xbox have that? No. If you talk about the graphics there is no comparison to the PS3. (Remember, PC's are not involved in this topic).

Talking about the best console overall, I would go with the PS3. Poeple complain about it being overpriced, now this is the information I collected.

Sony PlayStation 3 80GB Console with Killzone 2 and Fifa 09 is about £300...
Xbox 360 60GB Premium Pack with FIFA 09 is £170...

That's £130 difference, a lot, isn't it? Now let's buy ourselves a wireless adaptor for £50, te difference is nearly halved. But we still have £70 pounds left, so we must buy ourselves live membership for a year. Oh my, that's another £45 gone... And the final difference is £25. Not that much is it? Don't forget the PS3 bundle had 2 games, and 80 GB HDD, while the xbox bundle had 1 game, and 60GB... And guess what, after a year, another £45 will be gone from your wallet... So think twice before you call the PS3 overpriced.

P.S. Let's not forget the HDMI cable which does NOT come with the premium package... That's another £20 gone...

Yeh, I suppose technology wasn't the best word to use considering it does have motion sensors, but then again the PS3 also has 'Sixaxis'. What I really meant by technology (even though it wasn't the right word) was CPU, GPU and memory.

Also, I didn't call it over-priced, I think it's well worth it's price considering what you get inside it.

I hate to sound like some kind of elitist hardcore gamer (even if I am somewhat =\) but the Wii, heck, Nintendo in general have just gone way too far in catering for the 'casual' gaming market. It's led to the Wii becoming a magnet for 3rd party developers to stick their crap to, giving us games that usually include the word 'Party' or excessively use the letter Z in place of S.

So yeh, if you hadn't guessed I'm more of an Xbox man myself. The superior online capabilities coupled with having 20 or so friends that also actively use it wins it for me. I've only briefly come into contact with a PS3 so I can't really comment there. All I know is I won't be getting one any time soon, largely due to the price I'd be paying for access to only a few extra (decent) games.

P.S. I like the 360 but don't like Halo so much - that's right, people like me do exist!

I'd go for 360, its simple, it is relatively cheap, it has good graphics, and defenetly is the console that has the best games.

I know you didn't, I was aiming that text at everyone else who does think that way.



360 costs the same as a PS3, read my post above. Graphics are good, but not as good as a PS3. About the games, yes I have to agree. The exclusives are way better than the PS3 ones. I own a xbox myself, I bought it because more of my friends have an xbox, and I don't have any of the exclusives anyway.

I like the 360 but i've never played wii.

Wii has potential but it seriously lacks of decent games. Not mentionning the graphics..
So i say 360 for the exclusive games (fable, halo, gears of wars)

I've always liked the ps3, little big planet, best game by far on the console (not including cod4, as its shared, not ps3 exclusive)

however i've always liked the games for the 360 ALOT more, gears of war... and supreme commander on it also.

but also i've liked the wii!. it gets me to move.. thats somthing that doesnt happen alot, and it makes me enjoy it! as wrong as that sounded! but hey, its a console called a wii after all

360, better games and I think the online play is much more fun.

The Xbox 360 has a lot more games, but a lot of them suck, too. The PS3 and Xbox 360 have about the same number of "good" exclusive titles.

Everyone knows the Wii is just a novelty.
And the PS3 is far superior in every way over the 360.

Wii - Poor gfx but has embarassed its technologically superior rivals by being even more popular.

The Wii's not my kinda console. I've had a few goes with it, and it's great fun with mates, but that's about it. I don't think the online experience compares with that of the 360/PS3. I do like the virtual console on it, although I can emulate older games on my PC/PSP.

I went for a 360 purely because all of my friends have one and it was the cheaper option. For me, modern day console gaming is all about the online experience, something I wouldn't have gotten the full effect out of if I went for the PS3 as no one I knows has one.

So my choice is the 360, but in the end that only boils down to the fact everyone else has one and the PS3 isn't as commonly owned.

As for my favourite game, Gears of War 2 and Fallout 3 are probably joint first. I love playing Gears online with my mates (as frustrating as it can be at times), and I love the openness of Fallout. I ended up buying Fallout 3 twice actually, once for my 360 and once for my PC! I'm hoping to max the gamerscore on both of them at some point.

and I hate having to pay 250 bucks expecting to play new, exciting games that make good use of the wii motion sensing mote and instead get crappy "casual" games.

I don't want old, outdated nintendo and sega games. If I did, I would buy them and not a CURRENT GEN console.

I like wii because it's unique console!
