My thoughts:
MechScape is rooted in science fiction, a wonderful genre which allows us to explore the human condition. We can do "what if?" scenarios, and use allegory to look at things from a different angle. In essence we can explore the possibilities of scientific advancement and how that will effect our society in order to better understand who we are as people. Alternatively we can just have fun creating an imaginary world where lots of cool stuff is possible and seeing how what sort of problems and tensions they encounter and what adventures they get in to.
While we wait for MechScape we can imagine what the game is like based on the official concept art and information, the suspected concept art and rumours. It can also be influenced by how we think it will be like, how we would like it to be like or even how we fear it might be like. Whatever your take on it is the revived Fan Fiction forum is for people to write stories based in the MechScape universe and read stories written by others.

It might be an active forum when mechscape comes around, so people know what to write about.

Looking at the concept art it looks pretty detailed. What if we get our own ship (or buy one from a ship lot ) and can travle to diffrent worlds. hmmm...

I'd love it if I could write in Swedish. Even planning to write a book at the moment. But I really can't "paint" a text story in english, if you understand what I mean ... ? I only understand the basics ... Atleast I can read your stories!
For English class everyone has been assigned to write a short story. My due date is April 25th, and I've already started writing it and gone into a sci-fi direction... we'll see where it heads but once it's done I might post it here.

It's not at all as fun as writing a fantasy/sci-fi story.
I'm thinking i'll write a short story based on the MSW community and its different personalities.
