This is a fun political game (almost an oxymoron, I know!). It doesn't take up much of your time and you can learn stuff while playing. It's also a browser based text game, so there's no downloading anything!

You basicly start off by making up a name for your country and picking a few starting characteristics for how you want your government run. Every day you are presented with atleast one issue that needs resolving. It gives you choices on actions to take. After the new legislation is passed (usually takes 1 day after you choose an action) the description for your country is updated. Your choices on different issues effects everything from the economy to the freedoms of your people.

It's a simple, yet addictive game I came across a few years back, but have only recently rediscovered it. Give it a shot if it sounds at all interesting. You might just learn something. wink.gif

That game sucks lol, I can't even make a Jesuslovekingdom, they automaticly think the government is corrupt. That's really weird, I never told them to be corrupt but that site apparently think that people are corrupt if they believe in God. Seems like a nice game, other than that.

I'm playing in world 6 of NS2 - Xelroni.

I used to be an economic powerhouse, but I've stopped playing a bit.

I created the Republic of Quayroth.

QUOTE
The Republic of Quayroth is a fledgling, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-nosed population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Religion & Spirituality, Law & Order, and Defence. The average income tax rate is 20%, but much higher for the wealthy. A large private sector is led by the Basket Weaving industry, followed by Door-to-door Insurance Sales and Book Publishing.

Crime is a problem, and the police force struggles against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Quayroth's national animal is the hawk, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its currency is the gold piece.

I said my government was libertarian, but I have below average freedoms. Go figure. I have a reasonable economy, though, and very good civil rights... And no drug laws. PARTY IN QUAYROTH! WOOOOOOOOO
