After reading the above article on IGN, I decided to post it here. It's a good read if you enjoy Mario games. I personally think there is no bad Mario Game, and they are all equally amazing. The people who don't like Sunshine just can't handle change .

Actually, the bad Mario game(s), to what I recall, would be the Educational ones and this game called Hotel Mario or something of that sort.

Everything else is quite great.

Hotel Mario?

There was once a school typing class program made that featured Mario as the computer instructor. I can't imagine that was a good Mario game.

Main point of the game is stressful and annoying...closing doors to a hotel... with awkward controls... I think it was reviewed on the Angry Video Game Nerd.

Uhm... I personally didn't enjoy Dr. Mario and Dr. Mario 64, and I really hate most of the Mario sport games (I'm talking golf, baseball, tennis, not Kart, of course). Mario Is Missing had the most terrible backdrop graphics I've ever seen; they don't even go with the rest of the game except to provide some sort of "city" setting... I don't know what Nintendo was thinking. SMB1 was great, SMB3 was still pretty good because they advanced the game with all the costumes Mario could wear... I honestly never enjoyed SMB2 though because it simply doesn't feel like a Nintendo game to me at all. The new stuff just seems too good graphics-wise, not that that would be a bad thing normally but I just liked the simple graphics of the older generations better. It seems to me that today everything has to be "3D" or else it's just "not good." This went great with SSB because it's just so action packed, and Mario Kart because it would make the game very bland if it wasn't 3D, but a platform game like the classic Mario games is spoiled when the graphics become too "clean," to me. Paper Mario was just awesome, it's like a 3D game with all the cuteness of a 2D game. And Super Mario Worlds and Yoshi's Island 1 and 2 were just the bomb.

Last year at my middle school there was a learning game called Mario's Fundamentals..Mario go fish!

I've played only a few Mario games and I haven't found any that I don't like. Hotel Mario looks to be my pick though.

of couse there is a bad mario game. It just hasent been made yet.

I used to play a lot of Mario when I was younger - Mario Kart would have to be my favorite..I loved playing that game a racing people or computers.

I'd have to go with Paper Mario... forcing the user to read the same old story over again.

Get all the Mario games, close your eyes, pick up one.. You have a bad Mario game.

The worst mario game I have played is Super Mario DS since it is just 64 and those lazy bastards couldnt add anything more to the game except those stupid mini games which suck... well there are different chatacters.. but come on they couldnt have put that much work into the game

I've only liked the classic one. Where you have to save the princess while hitting yoru head against these numerous boxes. And that was really fun. If I look somewhere in my shed, I might still find my Sega Mega Drive with the Mario cartridge inside it.

Actually, I'll go looking for it in the morning, since I really want to play it now.

its not mario, but its luigi (did i spell that right?) the game luigi mansion (dont i spelt mansion right) wuz not that great
