I've heard many things about it, and wanted to go there, but I just figured out that it's not open to the public... or is it? Anyone know? I can't really find much information on it.

E3 became the E3 Media & Business so not open to the public, but to try to re-create the old E3 there is now the Entertainment for All Expo.

I was at a videogame expo during the christmas break and quite frankly it wasn't that good. There were so many people there that you couldn't do much at all. I did win the cod4 competition though, so that made it a little better.

But yeah E3 is the expo of expos. That is where everyone tries to show off their games and win the crowd. As Ren said, it is not open to the public.

E3 is going to be closed-doors again this year. I've heard it's actually hard for the media to get in now, with only the big money gaming magazines getting in. Last year, or maybe two years ago, you could get in if you ran a gaming blog and sounded relatively convincing.
