Has anyone played Left for Dead? I've played it a couple of nights and it drew my interested at first but it gets old after a bit. The fright level at first is pretty good but after killing over 10k zombies you sorta see it comical since you know that is going to happen already.

I love Left4Dead. It's one of the best zombie/infection games I have ever played (right up there with Resident Evil). L4D is very much like 28 Days/Weeks later with the speed of the zombies and how they act. I'm still debating whether or not they are "infected" or zombies...
L4D deserves a 9 out of 10 - maybe a 10 out of 10 if the developers release more campaigns in the future. I would not recommend this game to newer FPS players as it is an incredibly fast-paced shooter and requires some constant attention. The director will pwn you. :)

I've never played it, seen my little bro play it, tho. He was doing pretty good 'till a zomgie puked on him and every zombie in the room started raping him.

I've heard a lot of good comments about the game. People have been telling me that it is really good, so I'll probably check it out.

One thing I've been wondering is if the game's multiplayer is cross-console (i.e. a person playing on a PC can play with someone using an Xbox 360).

Nah, it's made by Valve, the best game developers in the world (IMO).

^^ Valve is awesome, but Relic is just as good, if not better.

Yea but it looks like Microsoft bought rights to it and payed more so other companies can't get their hands on it
but you may never know it might take longer to get on ps3.
I've heard this game is tons of fun... For a week. Then it gets a bit old because there aren't many maps to play on.

^^I've heard that you can play on custom maps (i.e. de_dust) - although, I have yet to find any way to do that.

I have only heard a little about this game. This thread is half of what Ive heard. Idk much other than that. Ive been playing a massive amount of COD4 and 5 though. Still good stuff their. Zombie games are good, but they do grow old after you catch on to the scare tactic used in the game.

I played it for a few hours at my friend's house. It is extremely addictive, fun, and fast paced, though within 2 hours I was bored because there are limited types of enemies, guns, and scenarios. It gets old fast.
Kudos to Valve for all that creepy writing on the walls at safe houses though.
