Well, Adura rated me in the 50% range for both my entries, but has given no reason whatsoever for doing so. In fact, he rated everything low and gave no comments. How very helpful... Is it ignorance or carelessness?

Also, Adura accusing me of stealing others work was a nice touch to the contest. He's a pretty cool little sodapop.

Judging was harsh but it pointed out a lot of things I needed to get pointed out for my submissions.

And for the critism on the judges: (Hey, it's only fair!)
You could of had more on what you thought process was behind your decisions.

Interesting, getting exciting. Can't wait to see the final stages on all categories. :)

Just one thing about mine, to poultry... since it's a sketch for the design of the ship, shading would be inappropriate, and it was never planned. :)

Not sure yet about a lot, but yeah, I know I'll be posting here about a few of the entries...in their defense. :P

I am really quite disappointed with myself right now. I was really hoping for the best Mecha or Cartoon-ish styled since I tried to make the picture in a little of an Anime-Cartoon styled form for that purpose. But I guess it didn't follow the Cartoon format, and that my coloring perhaps ruined the Mecha space.

The blurring wasn't intended I really just tried to highlight parts of the hangar with a brighter color since they were supposed to be slightly, but not so much, lighted with the background hallway's lights and the weak lights connected to them. My main tool was the airbrush with a soft circle, because for some reason the regular brush looks bad on my PC. Then again, my PC has a slightly broken graphics card and cannot "blend" colors together really well anymore.

Oh well, the judges eyes matter the most, and I guess I should have spent more time on it for the coloring, or just ignored coloring it completely.

While I liked the colored in work of your art, I think it looked even better without the coloring at all.

Actually I was wondering why you didnt win the cartoonish badge, because yours obviously is cartoonish.

I'll try not to, but my friends in real life have known for me to complain a lot at various times, usually when I don't understand something or how to do something or when I become insanely stressed.

Oh, and that mecha badge is all yours, you've earned it, so don't say anything was snatched.
