Title/Desc: "Took an hour and 30 mins, the first 30 of those mins were spent working on something that I eventually rejected xD.
Anyway, this is a sword and phat I made in Wings 3D, even made the textures for it. This is a finished entry."

Title/Desc: "A picture of Poultrychamp designed to appear much older than it is. I started out by increasing the exposure to achieve a perfectly smooth, flawless skin type of effect while also trying to capture the effect of a period camera. I messed with the tones to make it more sepia, as well. In order to achieve an aged, crumpled up type of effect, I took a scan of a piece of crumpled up white computer paper, turned it into a displacement map, had the image slightly displaced to the shape of the wrinkles, and then overlayed the paper."

Creativity and originality take a hit here. This has been done so many times, in so many ways. As for skill the skill seems average, and the colour/wood texture choice is interesting. Just doesn't live up to my standards. Perhaps if it had a bit more texture and design to it, instead of being boxy and flat.

The first thing noticed in the piece is that the crumpled paper look seems to be too loose. Not enough texture, I would say. The effects on the hair is very interesting and makes it look like an older photo, although the whole thing looks a little too smooth.

I've seen dozens of bloodsplat signatures, but this is definitely one of the better ones (I really do like it!) My main rant is the text. It's a good signature with a background, but the text is off. Not even a hint of Overlaying the text layer.

I like this concept so I've given it full marks for creativity. It is a very creative entry. A blue cat with an emohawk! But uh oh, there's that smudge tool again! I absolutely hate the use of smudge tool. For this entry it sort of works, but if you were going to use the smudge tool, you should have blended the cat into the background a little more. Still, though, a pretty kitty.
