These images were recently added to the portfolio of former Jagex concept artist Tom Woode. As usual, he has not marked whether these were created for MechScape or indeed for Jagex, but they seem of a similar style to other MechScape concept artwork.

If you take a close look at the tents, they all look like types of vehicles and turrets.

Those look WAY too similar to the mech's from the MechWarrior series.

The concepts will probably be pretty basic like in Runescape.

So it will be things we've seen before but probably there just copied from the general concept of science fiction.

There are like 50 Mechs from Mechwarrior the chances of the Mechscape ones looking similar is very high.

There will also probably be a mech similar to the one from "War of the Worlds"

Awesome, that mech was beast like. lol. Im thinkin Mechscape will have many NPC forms of mechs. Look at how many diffrent NPC humans/monsters are in runescape.

A lot of the areas that Tom has drawn looks very similar to the city/planet that was destroyed in the Xbox game Advent Rising. Hmm... I love how they're going with this game...

These pictures reminds me Half-Life, and I know, that one picture from there is 70% from Half-Life 2. I stil can't imagine, how will look MechScape.

Heh, it feels like I've seen so much concept artwork now that these sorts of finds almost don't excite me anymore. I'd imagine the only thing that'd liven me up is an in-game screen shot. >_<
