It's metaphorical, isn't it? Or maybe I always take things too seriously. Anyway... I see it as how humans, in their early life, worshipped nature. Then we grew apart as a society from nature, taking what we wanted. We eventually abandoned nature but in the end, before we die, we will come to reflect what we've done.

Yea I see it along the same lines as PC. The story is simple but good and carries a message that is essential for our future and sustainabilty as a species and planet.
