Just browsing through Jagex's homepage (www.jagex.com), when I started looking through their career page, and I noticed something.
On
this page, there is a picture of Jagex employees doing their jobs...But then I looked closer at the monitor on the bottom left, and noticed something. I have never seen the place in RS like that. Even so, it good be a new update, but it does look interesting. I flipped through their brochure, but didn't see much. I'm sure Ren will find something.
But I think this might be part of MS. (It also gives you a nice look at Jagex's in-house software.)

Cool stuff, I haven't seen that picture - although I've seen various pics of the Jagex office over the years.

Nice find, that part certainly does look interesting. Maybe its a spoiler of the super huge quest they were talking about in BTS

Yeh, I noticed they updated that page a few weeks ago. As for the picture on the monitor, who knows, perhaps it is indeed a sneak-peak at that epic 150th quest.
Kinda interesting that they've decided to be slightly more open about sharing pictures like that. To quote Mod Stevew:

I hope you all enjoy looking at it - I think it's great that we are sharing this sort of information now.

Yeah in it you can see them working on the scenery, some new what looks like a new cpu person, and a login screen (i think it may be mechish though its kinda blurry)

What of the weird mouse to the right on Page 1?
What of the weird-faced battleaxe-wielding creature on the monitor in Page 3?
Could either of those be MechScape related?
One thing which annoyed me was the decorative stuff getting in the way of the images - so I extracted just the images. See the results
here.

Ren, thanks.
The bottom left screen that seemed to have something non-runescape related on it. Now appears to have vehicle one of the concept looking vehicles that have been posted about. I noticed this on the new image Ren just uploaded. Any ideas or comments? Also the third monitor back, on the right. Looks to have some mech arm in it? Just some ideas to ponder.

This is a very great find. The monitor on the bottom left looks to hold a building of some sort. It definitely does not appear to be RuneScape related as it appears to have a sophisticated sky in it. It very well could be MS related and you know Jagex loves to release little hints about big projects here and there.
Thank you Ren for extracting the images. It is much better.

This is very interesting. For sure these are not realated to RS but are they Mechscape or not is the question?.

It could be anything. Like realistically it could be one of the hundred of fun orb games. It could be something the person was doing on break.

Cool new pics. It's pretty damn hard to tell what all the various images dotted around on papers, monitors and walls are. I think I can see a few RuneScape emote icons and other such things, but beyond that I'd just be taking wild guesses.

Yeah but the photos aren't showing you any of the more negative aspects of working at Jagex, such as having to work your arse off to bring out an update.
I wouldn't mind working at Jagex, honestly, except for the whole having to live in the UK part. I value my privacy and rights far too much to go anywhere near that godforsaken island.

Yeah, I honestly can't believe they don't even have one office in the U.S.: especially for all the people from the U.S. that play RuneScape.

I agrea, they aim their product at the U.S., they know more U.S. players play, thier are more american domains and worlds, why wouldnt they have an American office. I vote for them to put one in. That way I can go get a job there. lol.

Nearly everything is at Jagex HQ in Cambridge, with their other two offices nearby, and this suits them quite well. The more offices you have, and the further apart they are, the more difficult it is to manage them. The only things they need in America are servers, and they have those.

Life at Jagex! Heh, very interesting to see how they work, after all they did create Runescape. You definitely can see, that they are working on a new game, and I think that everyone knows that it's called MechScape.
I just love the picture, where they are playing table football.

It's called "Life at Jagex.'' I would like to work at Jagex, wage is good too.

I just think that when you have over 300k of your player base somewhere you should have an ffice in that country.
Then again, I think the real necessity is to hire more people: not as much where they are located.

This picture may have something to do with Mechscape. You are right when you say there is no place in RuneScape that matches up with that monitor.
I do like all the plant life that exists in their offices though. ;-)
In the games room at Jagex they have all the next gen consoles and a couple of PCs set up for LAN gmaing.
