Lol, i never tried that, dont really feel like it after trying adventure quest (from the same makers, Artix).

Er...For starters they have ripped off of every jagex idea so far. Also the rubbish saying MMO version is coming soon will never come. Bad gameplay over all and just no good storyline/Missions. Kinda like the pokemon games (how you are just walking around a forrest and get put into battle) and how they sucked **** when it came to storyline. The missions for mechquest and dragonfable are just "Please help our city is under attack" and you fight 3 monsters and a boss.

How do they steal ideas from a game that hasn't given any information whatsoever out yet? Just because the name Mech is in the game and it is sci-fi doesn't mean it is a copy.

I think they basically took the thought of the name mechscape and worked from there.
they recently made pvp combat because they heard runescape stopped theres.

I see what you mean, but alot of games have PVP, mabye they realized that should have it? They are a game too, and they are trying to get players. Just because RuneScape took away their good PVP doesn't mean this game made PVP just because Runescape doesn't have it.

and if you look at it have noticed that all of the games they made are some type of way
familiar to jagex's game(s) hmmm....

1) Involving the name mech means nothing. Many games have mechs, but the word "mech" is not in the title of the game. I guess that every game that has a mech just made on because another game did it..? No, it is because it is sci-fi.

2) MechQuest is an RPG, with laserswords and magic. Now, from what we know, Mechscape may or may not have laserswords and magic. How would this company know, but nobody else would?

3) Those other games are also RPGs. Adventure Quest has also been around for a while...I believe near RuneScape's time (possibly before). As for DragonFable, that is also an RPG..

All of these games are updated constantly and a lot of hard work has been put into them, yet you seem to have to make an assumption that just because Jagex is doing it they are trying to copy them..

Your wrong. I don't actually play this game but I have a younger brother's whose friends do. It was out during wilderness. You can't just make silly accusations. It's like someone going "RS totally copied WOW." It really is pointless saying so and so copied so and so, because they are all going to have similarities and differences from square 1.

The term "mecha" was popularised in the West by the 1985 Anime Robotech and is an established genre of Anime and Manga. The term 'Mech' came into the vernacular in the mid 80's when BattleTech stopped calling their robots "BattleDroids" when it turned out that George Lucas had the rights to the term "droid", and so they changed to BattleMechs. They started their MechWarrior game series in 1986 and MechAssault in 2002 and Mech as a prefix is not uncommon (e.g. MechCommander). The fact that is is applied to an MMORPG as opposed to a real-time strategy, single-player vehicular combat or shoot-em-up game is nothing particularly surprising.

i hate that game so much, mainly because it doesnt have a player chatting system.. thing

yeah its pretty much a bored because you can interact with other players

I have to say I did register and try out MechQuest and I really wasn't impressed. The whole Adventure quest gaming thing is not to my liking, it's just really annoying in everything about it, it just isn't fun to play and there is no player interaction.

Gravediggaahhhhhh Aenaid!! And yeah Mechquest is wholly average.
