Lucky kid.

Not really. He wouldn't be able to go to school, because he wouldn't know English, and until he learns it his chances of getting a job in later life would be pretty slim. The plus side is that he can tell people that he can speak fluent klingon when he learns English.

lmao, this is so so funny, but yes he needs to learn english to

Overall, Speers paints the experiment as a failure. His son is a high schooler now, and he doesn't speak a word of Klingon.

Guess THAT didn't work out so well.

Comes to show that if your going to teach someone a language you need to start young and keep with it.

Someone needs to slap that guy. What kind of idiot teaches his son Klingon instead of a useful language. It would be more useful to learn an ancient dialect of Japanese than to learn Klingon. What kind of idiot is he?

I think it is an interesting experiment, but of course if you do not use a language you will forget it.

I think this kid well on on way to not getting laid in the future. Way to go, dad!

What's Kinglon? I heard from somewhere that the first 3 years of your life, you learn the most.

Worf, a Klingon.

Klingon is a language developed by rabid Star Trek fans. It's generally thought of as the defining nerdy language, and only the most devoted fans learn it.

I'm sure his father will be proud of him no matter what language he doesn't know.
