So me and my friend were talking and he asked me which one would I choose...Zombie apocalypse or Alien invasion?

Although a Zombie apocalypse would be fun for awhile, lets be truthful I'd probably die. An Alien invasion would probably depend on what type of Aliens they were and It might be cool getting taken somewhere far far off into the galaxy, I just don't know about the probing. :/

For me I think I'd rather try to talk with the aliens and understand them rather than getting ate by a zombie or shooting it's head off right before it did.
So I think I'll go with an Alien Invasion.

Without specifics it's rather hard to justify, but I assume that any race that has mastered interstellar travel will have vastly superior technology and will pose a significantly larger threat than a horde of shambling shuffleboards.

Alien invasion. Of course it depends on what kind of "Aliens" it would be, but anything is better than infected humans ...

Alien Invasion, because they could be peaceful aliens and nothing at all like humans, while on the other hand, zombies are brain dead and are former humans.

I'd have to go with the zombies. At least they are a set number; with aliens you never know how many there are going to be.

If ETs are invading then you can probably assume they won't be visiting to preach love and tolerance.

I think it would enjoy an alien invasion a bit more then mass murdering zombies. I'm pretty good with a shotgun and all that fun stuff but it would seriously get old after a week and maybe even before that. While on the other hand you have the alien invasion where you could learn new technology and cultures. Basically be bested or best them at warfare. Humans are pretty brutal when it comes to warfare so they would have to out tech us to really do anything to us.

Zombies! I rather take my chance on something I know will hurt me than something that might hurt me. I am weird like that.
And more chicken for me, zombies don't eat chicken. xD

I'd much rather go with Zombies, I find they're more fun, mainly because they're more horrific, in my opinion.

Also, their heads don't explode when I play polka music. That's just too easy.

For all who chose Alien invasion, it's invasion not try and make peace with them and be friends. So thats why'd I'd have to go with zombies. I have my handy Zombie survival guide book just in case.

I always thought it would be fun to sit on a roof top and pick of hundreds of zombies, but in an alien invasion you could steal laser guns, hijack ufos, just do a bunch of crazy stuff we are incapable of doing now.

So I'm going to go with the alien invasion.

Plus, I can easily fend off Zombies with my Garden Plants and eventually make a Music Video with them.

Mindless zombies all over the place = We still have a chance for survival if we just kill all of them

Zombies are less intelligent. Then again, aliens could be reasoned with. It depends on the type of aliens and the type of zombies. Shambling brain-eating zombies versus super hightech evil aliens with no mercy? Shambling ones. Crazy running zombies who can use guns versus alien occupiers who eventually will share technology with us and establish some sort of alien democracy in the name of alien freedom? The latter.

alien invasion easy. That way the casualties are kept to a minimum, we get new technology, the aliens establish a continuation of life, though it may be worse. With the zombies.... its just the end of the world, not nearly as good.

why would they do that, it wouldn't accomplish anything, unless they truly thought us vermin or native unintelligent life (easy to mistake us for unintelligent life if the two races do not share the same communication methods - brainwaves instead of talking- )

I'd go with Zombies rather than aliens. I think that if both were out to exterminate the human race, you'll have a higher chance of survival with zombies rather than aliens.

For the sake of this discussion why is not important, urantis' wording (seems to) imply they are trying to kill all humans.

Resource? They can kill us all off to stop taking the Earth's resources, and then have them all to themselves.

I'm thinking It really depends on what kind of zombies and aliens. I'm thinking they'd either want to be our friends or just wipe us out.
Theres so many different books and movies that depict what aliens would do its hard to imagine what they might actually do and what they look like.

I'm thinking they'd be alot like us but just be vastly...vastly different in culture. Perhaps there bodies have shaped to there land and air, that might be a little out there but I think it could happen.

I thought you implied as World Rape on both terms... if it is in terms of Variation of Aliens... lets make it Macross styled, that way we would have both New Technology and Weapons with a gigantic war that is fair, and eventually befriend them...

I choose alien invasion for one, my incredible ability to communicate with the inferior human race puts my value above that of you mortal weaklings. They would practically beg me to join them and I would accept wholeheartedly no matter what anyone says. God created all things and has had Jesus teach them all things that are expedient for them to know, plus I would get a sweet DNA altering and a Bio-Mass Rifle.
