Congratulations. I have a total of about 10m in cash (With more being generated by Manage Thy Kingdom as I sit here.) It's amazing how much money you have to be considered wealthy these days. Inflaaaaaaaaaaaation.

Congrats. And yeah, MC, times have changed. Once upon a time, 10m was sort of rich, now it's nothing. In saying that, making money is easier now also.

It depends. For you, probably, yes. You have high skills and most importantly, high combat. It seems the best way to make money now is through drops from slayer or boss monsters such as the GWD commanders. My stats aren't quite good enough and my friends list not quite full enough (Many of my old friends quit, and that comprises most of the list) to do bosses.

Then there's merchanting, but I've never been too good at that.

I've tried merchanting, but very few of my merchants are any good. Right now I'm waiting for about 1k yew pyre logs to sell to get my 2m back (that is all of my money). I have the kingdom management too, but it's not an amazing source of income. Or maybe I'm just setting my goals to high.

Anyways, congratulations on getting 20m! It must have taken a while to get all of that pure essence! So, now that you have all that money, what will you use it on?

Best moneymaker is merchanting, second is probably boss hunting.

I'm on about 50m atm, all from slayer.

I suck at merchanting. Never been to godwars... and my stats are horrible. Barrows is my main source of income. I almost have enough for a purple but I doubt id get one... You don't need very high level stats to do barrows. I'd say 50 slayer (for dart) and 70+ defense along with as low as 43 prayer and you're set. :)

Slayer is less profitable now than it was four years ago.

Making money nowadays is Not as easy as it used to be. I don't care if your P2p or f2p, the ge is crap. The fastest way to turn a profit is Player-to-Player trading, not through some automated crap that takes forever to sell an item and sometimes never sells an item.

The slayer monsters and their unique items, yes. General tasks? I disagree. Herbs are worth more than ever now (Probably due to inflation, demand, and new potions), as are several other semi-common drops. I just made 980k off of one task today, plus about 200k from two other tasks each. Slayer's pulling in some good money for me.

I also do Manage Thy Kingdom, which so far has given me probably a couple hundred thousand in profit or more.

As I play more I sort of realize I'm making, proportionally, the same amount of money as I used to. Rather than 30k a trip, I get 200k a trip, but it's all about the same in value, much like money from 1930 and money from today. How economical.

Trading is still player to player, the G/E is just an automated intermediary.

the game is so easy to make money on once you pass the 90 combat mark is about where I would put it. I have 71m total net worth.

Slayer is still a great moneymaker. 99 makes 100-150m+

Unless you are f2p...

I'm happy with the 7mil I currently have as a f2p skiller (even though it's taken me like 4 years to work up to that).
