They should make a God: the video game instead.

The name gave me a good laugh. Bible navigator X. Why the X? Tenth version or what? lol.
It makes it sound like a fun video game.

Not a bad idea. I'm not quite sure if there would be a big market for it though. Like others have said most people already have a bible if they want one, why spend money for another? I think it would have been better if it included a bunch of different religions and their religious text. I wonder if people would be offended by that, or find it entertaining.

Well seeing as BibleGateway has all translations, I can't really see the point. Cool nonetheless.

It's not a horrible idea, but I don't really see why anyone would use it. I personally find it much easier to read the bible physically (and as mentioned above, you can get a free bible from any church) than by staring at a screen. This is just kind of pointless in my opinion. This really isn't a great idea, but it's the thought that counts I suppose.

They already have Bible apps for the iPod Touch and iPhone (I know a few people with them), Microsoft is probably just porting them over, but I don't really see the point. An iPod is portable, and an xbox is not, you could just read the book instead of reading it off your TV. It might have some neat features like direct Greek/Hebrew-to-English translations and the like. But if that were the sole reason you wanted the Bible on your xbox, there are some internet Bibles that do just that.

They're just trying to make as much money as possible off of diluted parents.

Nov 15 2009, 03:14 AM
I wouldn't say diluted, but I don't think many people will buy this. If you know what the bible is, you know where you can find it and see that there is no need for this product.

Yay! Now I can read the Bible and blow people up AT THE SAME TIME!!!! THAT'S HARDCORE!!!!!
But, I really don't see the point. Seems more like a way to get more money, than anything else.

Why the balls would anyone buy this? Nearly everyone prefers reading a physical version and those are available for free from libraries and churches.
