Just a topic about the amazing game of Ultimate.

Oh damn

I destroy at this sport. Since I'm like 6 ft tall ofcourse.
Apart from that, ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I love Ultimate because it's like kinda like football (which I love) except everyone gets to be quarterback, receiver, defender, ect. during the game.
I also love that the game only stops when a point is scored, kinda like soccer.

Never played ultimate Frisbee, but I have played with Frisbees before. I guess I wouldn't be that bad 6'1" is my height, just might
get tired easily, so defender is my game.

I've played Ultimate (Usually adding "Frisbee") before and it's fun. I used to play it a lot in gym class, but ever since I convinced the teacher to put out floor hockey every day, I haven't gone back. Hockey is just more awesome.

I've played ultimate frisbee a couple times. Pretty fun, but I suck at throwing it.

I'm pretty amazing at Ultimate Frisbee for the short time that I played it. Usually what would happen is that other team would wear down and I would see an opportunity to score so I did. :P

What is it? I've never heard of it.

Same, however seeing as it has a stupid name for something that we'd just call Frisbee, I'm assuming it's some sort of overcomplicated manhood-confirming American "sport".

If I know correctly, you pass a frisbee to players on your team to reach the endzone on one end of the field (Like American football.) However, there aren't downs and the play is continuous. You can't move while holding the frisbee, so you need to pass it to teammates until you get it in the goal. The other team, meanwhile, tries to intercept or bat down your frisbee to turn over possession.

It's just frisbee turned into a sport. Whereas just frisbee is simply that - just passing the frisbee. So it turned into Ultimate Frisbee. But then it became somewhat "official" so they no longer could use the name frisbee because it's a trademark name for a throwing disc made by Wham-O. So "officially" it is just Ultimate.

And MC explained it pretty well. It's run, someone passes it to you and you stop. Then you throw it to a reciever. And you try to work it down the field to get a touchdown.

I love Utlimate.

Too bad everyone I ever play with is an idiot, and never tries. Which pisses me off, because I really enjoy this sport...

I love that game! We have a course in my home town.

I would dare to say I'm one of the best safeties in ultimate in my school district. Last tournament I went to, I had about 20 interceptions and about 10 deflections. Playing real football gives you an edge over most other opponents at ultimate.

You have an ultimate team in your school??? JEALOUS!!!!!

Oh, and once in gym we played ultimate.....football! It was interesting.

I would very much enjoy an ultimate team/club in my area, but sadly there are none.
