Has anyone seen the new scramble effect? I don't know if you can call it an effect or not, I think it might be a glitch, but I'm not sure. Surely you can't get banned for bug abuse by doing this. This does work, I've tried it myself, but it gets tiring typing in all of the characters. Here's a YouTube video to explain it.

It gets extremely tiring punching in all of the numbers, but it has a pretty neat effect.

You need to have a number pad to enter the codes, so it doesn't work for a lot of laptops, or if it does, I'm not sure how.

Yeah this has been out for a while, kinda cool. Too much effort to be worth doing.

It works because alt+0151 is considered a space, but has no space used. Therefore, all the room of those five spaces are being moved, but it doesn't exist, so it is squashed together.

alt+0151 between letters allows caps, too.

I still want to know how to do the alt + number sequence that bypasses the chat filter.

I have a number pad on my laptop so I think I can do it. But it doesn't seem worth the try. :P

It actually is pretty cool. They should make it into a legit effect.

A legit effect for this would be awesome, but I don't think Jagex cares about chat effects that much. I remember seeing two people at an event on RS saying "S C R A M B L E" with the letters scrambling, and for the next ten minutes, you were constantly seeing people type "scramble: S C R A M B L E" on screen It was kind of funny, really.

With 0151 you can say vagina penis dick gay cum etc.

This isn't a new feature. People are just discovering it.

You can if you have a number pad integrated into your laptop's keyboard. For example, on my laptop, you press function (fn), and then the key that has number lock in a box. From there, I can use the integrated number pad. After that, it's the same.

I can provide a picture if that would help.
