Full Version: What should I do now?
MechScape World > Jagex > RuneScape General
Spire
99 agility has come and gone. I am left with a feeling of great accomplishment, but at the same time i'm confused.
I've been working on Agility since last year, I took a few months break, and i've been working my tail off since the beginning of summer, so it's odd needing/wanting/being able to do something other than Agility.
What should I do, what should my goals be in the game?
Currently i'm getting 60 cooking (58 atm)

Thieving is rather fun, in my opinion. However, hitting 99 in it won't take you as long as it took you to get 99 agility. It's rather fast experience, in my opinion.

Also, if you decide to do it, once you hit 75, I'd be willing to race you to 99. I need a strong impetus to start training it again.

I'd say make money and do some skills until you decide you feel like doing it until 99 again, because your probably going to need money for some skills.

I would not worry about making money right now, the economy in runescape is so up and down lately that you may save up for something, buy it now, and it could potential be a fraction of the price later. Of course it works both ways though and could potential make you money biggrin.gif

Anyways, I think you should go for another 99 skill. I'm not too sure if you have 99 fishing or not but it's a good skill to have and you will make a pretty good amount of money on the way. If you don't like the thought of standing still you could try Hunter skill. That too will make you a good amount of money on the road to 99.

Whatever you decided to do, good luck doing it!

Only do something that you enjoy doing!

i'd say quest or get cash

whichever one you find more appealing

I would work on your lower level skills. This way you will have a nice total level.

It happens to all of us. As soon as you reach your goal you find that it really isn't satisfying and then want to try to get another 99 in a vain hope that it will somehow satisfy or justify the long time spent grinding the skill. Unfortunately it doesn't.

With high agility you can do things like collect seconds from spawns or something. I remember making 1mil in one day from getting mushrooms off that swamp East of Varrock. I used the Fairy teleporting thing.

You should Make money by work on raising lower level skills. happy.gif

Definitely do all the quests.

They're the best part of RuneScape. You'll raise a lot of your lower level skills in the process. I made 10m when While Guthix sleeps came out. I doubt the pieces go for much anymore but who knows what future items they could release that would be profitable.

Also, I suggest raising hunter. It's an easy skill to train and implings are excellent money. I'm biased as it was my very first 99 but it really helped me.

learn to play Stealing Creations, the tools u get can help lvl other skills faster, and i can help teach ya :D:D

I say grab a beer, sit back, join an oldies clan, and screw training for a little while.

That's what I did.

Haven't stopped doing that for 2 years cool.gif

YAY QUESTING! It may be one of the most common capes, but finishing all the quests is a huge achievement. I got mine 2 years ago, and keeping the right to wear it is the main reason I still fork over those 5 bucks every month. WGS can still make you a solid 4mil, by the way, if you sell the Elite and Dagon'hai stuff too.

So yes, I recommend questing. And after questing, achievement diaries. And after achievement diaries, the game is OVER. Or that's how it feels to me dry.gif

If I were you I'd level all my lower-level skills first, especially your construction, farming, slayer, smithing, runecrafting and herblore, which are all under 50. I know that some of these skills require a lot of money to level, so I would suggest doing quests which may give you both money and the chance to level up these skills.

Voted other.

I think you should do what interests you the most and what you enjoy the most. I've been taking a new look into games rather then playing them "to be better then the next guy" I have instead been looking at what is fun and what isn't. If the game isn't fun, I'm not going to play it. The sad part about this is that most of the games that I've "loved" has become boring. Back to StarCraft for me. Oddly enough.

But yea, play what you enjoy.

I second this motion, do something you enjoy.

QUESTS!!!---there fun
LordTobytwo
I am getting a woodcutting cape and then finally a quest cape. Try doing quest cape now.

Well, I'm in much the same position as you Spire. Last year after thief I just ended up sticking with the first skill I trained all the way to 99, but then I was slightly limited in being a non-member. I ended up training thief just because it was the first skill I trained after the quest cape (and my friend was racing me it for a while). Now I'm training hunt, I wonder what that means...

I reckon it's too early to be thinking about another 99 until Christmas time. Until then, work on the odd bits and pieces - for me it's recovering my quest cape and for you it might be those milestone quests and some random levels - something like 60+ all skills might be good for the variety.

Money... well, money is fine an' all, but I've never seen it as an end in itself. I make it as I need it usually, or in the course of training.

Then again, I was a lucky bastard in PP. 7 sceptres at a pretty good price left me made up.

(Oh yeah, every now and again you have to stop and hit the emote button. Always makes you smile.)

Hahaha, you have excactly the same problem as me atm =P

I've got 51 Agility atm, and stopped there because I got bored, now I'm in the party room waiting till I get a good drop, when I see it's no good (Which I currently don't because I just got Dragon Boots, yay! =P) I'll start training Agility again. I think it'll take me 5-6 days before I start training again.

The quests are quite awesome, but I voted "other". Why don't you just do all of them, when you feel like it?
