Should Mechscape world dot com become one of three segments and use its future success with mechscape to advance into other Jagex games? So far we have only had 1 site per game but what if we made a site for all 3 of their games.

Runescape, Funorb and Stellar Dawn.

Ideas? We could become the most succesful gaming fanasite ever. Nobody has ever achieved something like this before.

Nope. There already too many RuneScape fansites. Funorb fansites aren't going too well. Stellar Dawn is why people are here, they want a Sci-Fi, more mature based game.
Once we were joint with FunOrb World, but it took its own path, and it isn't doing good at all.

I must agree. MechScape World is the original MechScape fansite. That alone, is enough, if you ask me. There are too many RuneScape fansites. Running a RuneScape fansite or guide site isn't easy. It takes a LOT of work and effort.

Overall, I think this is a bad idea.

We will never branch off to become a RuneScape fansite. That's just too much work. There would be no way we could beat and compete with large, established RuneScape fansites. Putting that aside, a lot of people are here on MechScape World because they hope Stellar Dawn / MechScape will be what Runescape is not.

We used to be affiliated with FunOrbWorld, and in a way, we still are, but we haven't had much communication with them in recent months. I don't know how they're doing.

What we are is a MechScape / Stellar Dawn fansite which will be a completely dedicated fansite once the game comes out. That's who we are and what we will be.

http://www.curse.com achieved that a long time ago. ^^ All they do is(from what I know) buyout successful MMO sites and re-do them as curse. An example of that would be zybez.net.

It would be far to hard to manage a forum for three separate game sites all at once. I'd prefer this to be purely SD.

It's fun...in concept. But no fansite manager wants that much work. One community is quite enough.

I have to agree with the others and say that this would be way too much work for one single site.

Honestly I bet a part of msw are not big fans of runescape.

I honestly don't see the point. It wouldn't be the best site in any game if the staff would need to focus on all of them
